Function sacrificed for durability. Entirely unusable do to horrible balance!
So, for those of you that don't feel like researching the Autoloader brand, these screwdrivers are all made or imported by the same company based out of Canada that owns the patent, but there are 4 different models to be familiar with. 1) Autoloader Classic - plastic internal components... made in China... this is the most common full-sized Autoloader. 2) Autoloader II - extra grip handle w/ plastic internal components, made in Canada, commonly re-branded as Craftsman or other... look for diamond plate look on the handle if you want the made in Canada model. Better balance & usability than the professional model because of the plastic components rather than steel, but it is less durable than the Professional model. This is the model I recommend buying regardless of durability. 3) Autoloader Professional - this model has significantly more metal in the internal components which makes the handle extremely heavy and gives very poor control when trying to keep the bits centered in the screw head... made in China... as far as I know Triplett is the only company re-branding and selling Autoloader's Professional model and it will cost you at least $25-30 for the full-sized Triplet model. I purchased the professional model because I wanted the durability of the metal components, but I find this Triplett model to be entirely unusable because it weighs about twice as much as the all plastic models... I strongly recommend not buying the "professional" model... it weighs so much it feels like you're trying to drive a screw with a pair of large pliers. 4) Autoloader Precision - made in China. All Precision Autoloaders are exactly the same regardless of brand, so if you pay extra for one re-brand vs. the next, what you are really paying for is a different color. As a size comparison, the precision model has a 15/16" handle diameter x 6-1/8" overall length including loaded bit vs. about 1-3/8" x 8-3/16" for the full-sized models.So...Autoloader Classic - good weight, balance, and control due to plastic construction, made in China.Autoloader II - good weight, balance, and control due to plastic construction, made in Canada and costs about the same as the China model.Autoloader Professional (Full-sized Triplett brand) - weighs about twice as much as the other full sized models, made in China. Horrible balance & control... THERE IS A REASON MOST SCREWDRIVERS AREN'T MADE FROM SOLID STEEL!Autoloader Precision - a nice little tool. Made in China. Usable weight, good size, no difference from one brand to the next other than color. More variety of bits available @ Wihatools.com (search site for 750 series bits which are 4mm x 28mm)Hope this helps.

OK but not great
Bought this to have as a general purpose screwdriver to keep in a kitchen drawer. It's OK for that. We have one at work that is labeled Craftsman that looks like the Triplett from the outside. But the one at work seems to be better quality and is smoother in its ability to select the next bit. The Craftsman has a plastic inside, while the Triplett has a metal interior. As someone else mentioned, this screwdriver is heavy, so it's not something that you would want to use for a long time. The other thing I don't care for is the way the screwdriver barrel doesn't lock in place with the handle. So if you are holding the barrel of the screwdriver next to the tip to keep it on the screw and push against the screw head, the barrel slides over the screw head. A little annoying because it feels like you don't have any control. The bits seem to fit most of the applications I needed. Not sure I would ever use the real small ones with a driver that's this big. And with any multibit screwdriver, the handle is big... good for getting torque you need, but bad because sometimes it gets in the way for certain applications. If I had to do it again, I might try one of the cheaper ones to see if they would be just as good for less money. Not sure I would buy this one again.

Great multi tool for keeping around the house
Great multi tool for keeping around the house. We keep one of these in the kitchen for basic tasks so we don’t have to keep going out to my work bench for tools.

Best multi-bit screwdriver ever...
The best multi-bit screwdriver I have ever owned! Good design that changes bits fast and allows you to retract all of them for storage.

Love this tool. Great usability and durability. Bought one a long time ago from a store and can’t find it again, so I was glad it’s available on Amazon.

This has become one of my daily used tools - it's a bit bulky but not having to carry around a separate box and the speed in which I can switch between these is well worth the investment.
