How long does a battery last for

I have the 1.5 Amp Hour battery (smallest) and it lasts about an hour.

Does this hedgetrimmer utilise a quick stop blade system?

As soon as you release the switch it stops if that’s what your query is.

What do you do if the hedge is ( much ) wider than the blade ? The blade is only 20 inches long.

Some of the hedging and bushes round our yard were higher than I would like so I chopped them down a metre, cut them narrower and used a folding trestle/ladder to cut in as far as I could, then attacked them from the other side and it turned out ok.
