The Enchanted Map Oracle Cards: A 54-Card Oracle Deck for Love, Purpose, Healing, Magic, and Happiness Cards – November 1, 2011

UPDATE: after airing out the cards, guidebook & box in another room overnight, smoking them out with incense, I found that I really love these cards. I have a few of Colette’s decks so I’m happy I’m able to use them. But to the printers of these cards, please please fix the overpowering chemical scent issue. This is the only deck I’ve ever had this scent issue with & I not only read but collect decks as well.These cards are a companion to a book that I have on pre-ordered now but you can also use them totally on their own very well & will give you the info you’re looking for. You don’t need the book, which I think is already out via kindle. I’m just a hands on old fashioned book kinda gal. If there’s a book that goes with an oracle deck, I always get the book because I love collecting them & they give more in-depth info on the very things I was drawn to in the first place! Anyway onto the cards!This is a very intriguing (in the best way) deck. Firstly, I absolutely love the artwork. It’s very beautiful art, in which each card’s art matches the tone of the message. There’s symbolism in the cards that correspond with the message so I really love that. I’m able to use this deck very intuitively. I often find hidden symbolism in the art I didn’t see before reading the message. Then I look again at the card & its meaning has fully opened up.The messages for each card’s art matches are deep & meaningful as well, as long as you’re willing to also do work within yourself. This deck challenges us, our thought patterns, negativity feedback loops & helps us break through those patterns & negativity. We can process traumas in a tangible way, which I think is very helpful along the journey of healing. The messaging has been very excited for the book to come next month!In the guidebook it explains exactly how to use this deck, which includes in your own intuitive way; you don’t have to be rigid in structure. We’re invited to spark our creativity to make our own spreads to use with this deck very intuitively. I’ve created custom spreads using this deck that have all given me (& whomever I’m reading for) accurate & meaningful messages that make total sense in a way we might not have seen before.As always, I’m a “take what I need & leave the rest” when it comes to advice. Meaning I take what applies to me. If it doesn’t apply to me, it doesn’t matter. So there is a card that seemed a little bit religious, but not in an aggressive way & I was able to interchange it with my practice, with the message of the card remaining intact. I also don’t find it to be a “toxic positivity deck”— I think it has a great handle on that balance.All in all, I recommend this deck to anyone, it’s a great oracle deck. The only issue is the print scent which is so overwhelming. This can be remedied by airing it out in a different area but it’d be nice to not have to do that. Other than that, spectacular deck with beautiful art & truly meaningful messaging, especially those on a journey of healing.ORIGINAL (old): It gets stars for the art that I’ll never be able to really look at because whatever ink they used to print these cards smells so awful. I’m one of those weirdos who absolutely loves the smell of a new deck. I always smell the guidebooks. But these can’t even be held for more than five seconds before putting them away.I’m super disappointed in these because I have to wait for the weather to be nice so these can’t air out. I’m afraid they’re bogus or something because the smell is that bad.

I've been using this deck for the past couple of weeks - it's new to me and has quickly become my go to. I am writing this review - which I really don't do (write reviews) - because I am profoundly grateful for the energy this deck holds and in that; it's ability to connect with deep rooted and present happening truths inside myself and within our shared journey human. This deck has become a sage friend, bringing me comfort in my reflection and also the sort of nudging truth that only true sages bring to light. It is with much gratitude I share this experience of mine.

Good Quality thick cardstock. I love how the illustrations take you on a deeply spiritual, and mystical journey! Just Beautifully done!!

I am happy with the meaningful cards and the gorgeous artwork. However...the box was not sealed and the cards had been shuffled with some upright and others not. It was not listed as a used deck! I counted the cards and they are all there and in very good condition. This is the second time I ordered new and unused oracle card decks and received items that had been opened and used. Since they have not been damaged in any way, I decided to keep them. My complaint is that these items should not be sold as new when they have been used.
