You would probably need size 1 as it makes about two cups of coffee.

Is it dishwasher-safe?

Hi, because of the heat resistant material around the neck of the flask I tend to hand wash. I do sometimes pop the filter part in the top of the dishwasher.

can you place this on a hob to keep the coffee hot?

Hi, it is very thin glass, I don't think you could put it on any heat source or it would crack I tend to just make enough for one cup and drink it straight away :)

Whats the glass quality like? Too fragile or sturdy enough to last? And is the silicone thick enough to insulate the heat when pouring??

The glass is not very thin nor overly thick, it seems to be just right. The silicone insulates enough when pouring.
