Excellent fit and protection
Creates a really good seal, and is comfortable to wear. The filters provide excellent protection from dust. A whole different level from disposable masks, and worth the extra money. Replacement filters are not cheap, but they last a good amount of time.

Good value with filter
It is good value for money. It has filter which helps with the protection. I didn't open because want to keep the lifetime of it. Just ordered for peace in mind.

Brilliant resi for DIY sanding jobs
This resi has been brilliant for using whilst sanding down my kitchen oak worktop and also the walls for decorating.Breathing normally during use makes the job so much easier. This was easy to put on and even easier to wear. It was comfortable around my head and breathing with it on was natural due to the filters. It sat well alongside my googles. It's really well made and durable. The design is perfect and has been made to allow you to get the most out of it.

Practice before needing. But it works well
It takes a bit of time to get used to putting it on securely, but it works okay. Slightly dry mouth after extended use

Great protection
My husband does a lot of sanding in the job that he does and his other mask was a little worn so decided to get him this one .We ordered the Large mask and it fits him perfect giving him all the protection he needs from the dust getting into his lungs .He wears the mask for approx 6 hours a day and he states its really comfortable.Easy to use and clean after use.

Fits well and works well
Great half mask for keeping out dust and fumes, I have been using this for painting and woodwork helping out my dad recently and it’s been great, he also has ordered one.Fits my face well, also and breathing through it is fine and unrestricted. The build quality is sturdy. Can be adjusted to most head sizes.

Professional breathing protection at a budget price
My brother (in the photo) is a professional car smart repairer, so tested this out with me. He has found it to be as good as more expensive breathing masks and he could not smell or taste anything externally whilst using the mask.Admittedly, with my brother, it makes him look like some sort of manic psychopath from something like a Mad Max film, however as long as it does the job and protects your lungs, who cares what it makes you look like.Highly recommended and definitely good value for the usual retail price.

Understandable fitting system when you've fiddled around with the straps for a while
I do wood turning in a workshop with a couple of friends and there's an awful lot of dangerous wood dust, so air filters are a must. My friends have been long term users of the Trend Airshield Pro, so I got one. Then I also got a JSP Powercap which is a broadly similar idea - a transparent face protection mask with a battery pack that blows filtered air over your face for you to breathe. This is great, you can wear glasses fairly easily while wearing them and the constant blow of air over your face overcomes the heat buildup you would otherwise suffer.I thought I'd try this Drager X-plore 3500 with 2 x P3 filters and see how it compares to those battery powered masks. In many ways it's an entirely unfair comparison because those battery powered masks cost well over two hundred quid while this Drager seems to be more in the fourty quid range. The Trend and JSP masks are quite definitely optimised for wood turning, and can be worn all day without fatigue. All three masks have filtering systems that need some maintenance, and periodical replacement. So the first thing to do with the Drager 3500 was to assemble it which involves just taking the mask bit out of its plastic bag, taking the two P3 filters out of their bag, screwing them on the mask and then figuring out the elastic strap system that holds it to your face. This was easier said than done - the instructions weren't much help and the picture on the product box doesn't really tell you the whole story. It was only when I finally figured out that the two blue clips that hold the elastic on the front of the mask can be pulled out and clipped together around the back of your neck that it made sense - without doing this you have two great long dangling bits of elastic where the plastic assembly that cradles the back of your skull are held in place.Wearing this mask is quite tiring for me. Maybe I've got weak breathing, but after only a few minutes I felt like I was really having to work to keep my breathing going - and this is entirely the opposite of my Trend and JSP battery powered masks. Of course it's worth it to keep deadly particulates out of your lungs, but it sure saps the joy out of wood turning. The other thing about this Drager mask is that the rubber seal around your mouth and nose is very effective, possibly even more effective than my Trend and JSP masks, but the price you pay is the same as when you wear goggles at the swimming pool - you end up with marks in your skin that take a while to wear off after you've removed the mask. Not the end of the world by any means, but a bit uncomfortable, and I'm not used to it.Another factor with this mask is that while you can wear it and your glasses at the same time, it's not 100% successful because the bridge of your glasses and the rubber at the top of the mask are trying to share some of the same space. Added to this, if you need to wear protective goggles everything starts to get a bit congested. In summary, this is a P3 mask which does a great job of filtering out stuff you don't want to breathe. But I wouldn't describe it as comfortable to wear - definitely more of a necessity. It's also quite reasonably priced compared to the masks I wear when wood turning - this makes it a sensible choice if for example you're working in a dusty attic or doing some kind of nasty job where you want to keep particulates out of your lungs, as it is relatively affordable.

Beste halfgelaatsmasker
