Broan-NuTone BCSQ130SS Three-Speed Glacier Under-Cabinet Range Hood with LED Lights ADA Capable, 1.5 Sones, 375 Max Blower CFM, 30-Inch, Stainless Steel

I purchased the Broan-NuTone BCSQ130SS range hood to replace the old Broan model that was likely installed in my house in the 1960s. The shipment arrived within a few days, the installation was fairly simple, and the new range hood is working like a charm and amazingly QUIET in comparison to the old model. - Great range hood!I noticed that the suction cup tool used to remove/replace the LED lights was missing, so I contacted their customer service. They responded immediately, were very professional, and directly offered to send me the missing tool at no charge. - Great customer service!

I love this thing. It loves fingerprints, so I'm careful to just push the buttons. I had the cheapest one of the same brand before and this one is prettier and the fan is more powerful. The old one was ancient and light switch stopped working. The LED lights make my stove and food look amazing. I had it installed but it didn't look hard to do, especially a direct replacement of the same brand (mine is unducted). If you have it installed unducted make sure the person takes the cover off the vent. The guy that did mine had to take the whole thing out and reinstall it when I told him he didn't do it.

The item works well, however one light bulb did not work. In contacting the manufacturer I learned that there was no warranty coverage as Amazon's invoice noted that this was purchased used. I did not understand this when I purchased the item and was advised by Amazon to contact the manufacturer for any problems. This seems to me a place where Amazon could do a much better job at explaining warranty coverage for products.

This stove vent is awesome. There are different speeds for the fan and the light is very bright.It's heavy duty and easy to install. The fan is quieter than others I've had and looks beautiful with our other stainless steel appliances. Definitely worth the purchase.

I was impressed with how easy this hood range was to install, making the setup process hassle-free. The manual buttons are another plus, as I prefer their reliability over touch controls.While the hood offers three fan speeds, I was hoping for a bit more airflow based on the specs. It’s not bad by any means, just not as powerful as I expected. The noise level is comparable to my previous 20-year-old hood, so no major surprises there.In terms of maintenance, I found that my usual stainless steel cleaner didn’t work as well since this unit isn’t “fingerprint-proof.” However, an industrial polish did the trick, leaving it with a great shine.Overall, this is a solid hood range with great lighting, easy installation, and a classic button interface. If the airflow were a little stronger, it’d be nearly perfect!

Been using this for quite a while and I’ve had zero problems. Easy to install and it’s as quiet as advertised. It’s loud enough that you’re gonna know it’s on, but it works very well and quite frankly, I’d rather have it be noisy enough that I don’t forget to turn it off. I certainly don’t need to leave a kitchen fan and sucking hot air out of my house all winter because it’s so quiet that I can’t hear it. It’s a possible to move air with zero noise but I’ve experienced many quiet fans that I would never describe as quiet. This is not one of them. I have a gas range and M personally very sensitive to the smell of the gas so it’s important to me that even on the lowest setting, this fan is powerful enough to take care of that when initially lighting a burner or turning on one of the ovens.

Bought this to replace a 30 year old Broan which actually still worked well but remodeling the kitchen so decided to go for a new one. I obviously have good reason to have faith in the brand and really couldn't beat the price. This unit extends out over the stove further than the old style, has a much more powerful fan and great lighting. I'm 68 and installed this with the vertical vent by myself in under an hour. One of the grease screens was damaged on arrival but I was able to repair it quickly so no big deal. Overall very happy with the purchase.

It's a perfectly fine range hood. 1st two fan settings are pretty low noise, but the third is loud. We used the #2 setting most of the time, but for things like bacon it's not powerful enough even on setting 3. For the money it's fine. If you have extra money, find something that will really push more air AND is still quiet.
