Diptyque34 Solid Perfume 3.6 g / 0.13 oz

I'm someone who doesn't wear heavy perfumes, and florals most often make me sneeze and tear up.So, I'm very picky. After finding success with the vanilla/spicy Eau Duelle, I took a chance on this one, and I'm happy I did. It feels more "special occasion" to me, and is easy to control in the solid form.

Absolutely love the fragrance and convenience of the little solid perfume compact. Heavy for it's size, the black enamel compact is an elegant joy to use.

My new favorite perfume. Lasts ALL day. Sexy subtle. Great for travel because you don't have to worry about it spilling.

My husband thought it had a chemical smell but when I wear it I do get compliments.

It's wonderful. Keep it cool between dabs - it'll last longer.

Great for travel

I bought 4 solid perfumes straight from the Diptyque website. This is a review purely for the product and not the Amazon vendor. This particular signature perfume did not come with its own sampler so I'm forced to keep it. It was also the most disappointing out of all the scents. It has a very pungent musky scent which is closer to cologne. This is understandably unisex, but this smells much more like a men's item. the pungency of the scent also gives this a posh pretentious feel to it. It definitely smells like something I've smelt before. It reminds me of my 4th grade teacher who was on the far side of middle-age and caked with heavy makeup. This did not resonate with me personally.
