UPDATE!!!!I am taking 2 stars off and returning my unit and here’s why. There are only 8 slots available for programming which worked for my schedule, but it disables you from using the timer mode- meaning I was having to set external reminders to shut it off when I used it outside of scheduled time- completely defeats the purpose of a programmable unit. The biggest annoyance yet is discovering that the unit does not default to the last used settings, so after my children repeatedly kept waking during the night I see that every time the unit powers on it not only turns on the light, but full rainbow brightness! Whose dumb idea was this!!!? How is it not understood that it would be a problem not to allow users to customize their experience for programs? You get 2 options, ON and OFF and no in between. So to have just the diffuser and no middle of the night light show, you have to wake up with the diffuser and manually adjust the light which is the antithesis of rest and relaxation. What a shame for a “good” company to let such thoughtless foresight ruin an otherwise good product! Do better!For those whose only complaint is the indicator light, there is literally a toggle switch in the settings to disable it.*******************************************Original:I like it! I don’t see this mentioned enough in diffuser reviews but this unit not only does not make obnoxious sounds when powering on in schedule mode, the app allows you to disable the indicator light as well for those who prefer zero lighting at night. These are priceless features my much more expensive diffuser didn’t bother with.It has great output- even on the low mode there will be no wondering if it is on other than the fact that it is pretty quiet.I really like that you can see the water level in the app. It will tell you if there is a deficit of water!There are only 8 schedules allowed to be set which suffices for our intermittent night time use but may vary for others.I haven’t owned it long enough to say much to longevity but I can tell you I wouldn’t hesitate to get another should the need arise- the software is miles ahead of the others, I’ve paid double the money for less features!

I want to like this product but it needs refinement. Setup was a bear! Your smartphone needs to be on 2.4ghz network to pair this thing up (can go back to 5ghz after), thing is most modern smartphones have no option to toggle it's connection between 2.4 & 5 as it's automatic these days. After much googling I was able to find a workaround many wouldn't. Having an Orbi mesh setup with dual band frequencies, I found I could reduce my 5ghz signal down to 25%, allowing the stronger 2.4ghz to push the phone over to that frequency. Was then able to successfully pair this device to my WiFi network. After, through it's app, and Google Home app, I got it working via Google Assistant. Here's my next gripe, let's say you turn the device on manually with the physical buttons, change the light settings and speed on the front, then you turn it off again with it's own buttons, well when you use Google Assistant to turn it back on (convenience feature) it doesn't have your settings saved and starts up on the wrong colors and or wrong speed. If you use it's physical buttons, setting are saved when turning it off/on. This makes the "smart" part of it, not smart at all. Personally, I have it set to no light on for overnight use on the nightstand, and speed 1. If I ask Google to turn it on after getting into bed, it fires up the bright LEDs and puts it on speed 2 full blast. Smart, not so much.... So now I'm just hitting the buttons on it physically, which makes it no different than the last non-smart device I was using.Pros: very customizable, lasts at least 8hrs on speed 1, super quietCons: Settings are not saved when using "smart" tools to turn it on/off - kind of makes it a no buy for the smart feature, setup is a pain if not on 2.4ghz network with the setup device (smartphone)

**UPDATE**I just ordered a second one for the bedroom and it was very simple to pair to the app., I can now control both devices (each has it’s own name). Alexa immediately recognized the new device and paired with it Automatically. I have been using the other one daily and I LOVE IT! I didn’t experience any issues pairing either deviceThis is a fantastic diffuser folks! The price Can not be beat for the value...I love the tech with this unit...I grabbed the app from playstore, took my phone & unit down to the router & did the super simple set up...unplugged the unit, took it upstairs, filled it with water and an EO blend and BOOM it all worked perfectly! I would like to let you know that the size is perfect for any space, it's not too large while also not being tiny. The amount of mist it produces on the high setting is great for my large space & the scent from my oils is much more noticeable than with my old diffuser...this is a big plus for me...I connected this unit to my Alexa by enabling the Birgus skill in the Alexa app...this unit & the app function well (you can set up timers and schedules also). In summary this is easy to use and set up, takes up little space and I think it will save money in the long run with EO costs because it mists so well (meaning I will use fewer drops to get a good scent)...A+++ from this reviewer ;) Now I'm contemplating another one for the bedroom
