For Rotary Cutting Only
I expected Drunkard Path to include templates for 2 pieces, but the templates are only for the half shell piece. You need to measure & cut squares; then use the half shell to create 2 pieces. There are 4 sizes of half shell templates. I prefer hand tracing and cutting individual pieces, so these templates were disappointing.

maybe easy to use
Had to read the description that came with it as i thought the "L" part would be included but wasn't. I understand now that it's hard to cut inner curve but with the fan shape you make your "L".There are four fan shaped heavy plastic templates A B C D to use on 4",5"6"7" square fabrics which makes diameter of 3.5", 4.5", 5.5", 6.5" circles.Need to read the booklet. Many projects included.Maybe easy to use (yet to do a project) once you get used to it.

My brain doesn't work like this
My brain can't make these work. I spent all afternoon cutting out pies & legs and had it completely backwards. I was really hoping this set would work for me because I dudntbwant to have to buy a template pair for each size, but I guess I'm one of those people who need the visual of which is which. Not even the shape on the templates helped me, lol.

Drunkard's Path Templates
This templates work very well. I did have a bit of a problem cutting around them but I think that was the fault of not having a small rotary cutter and arthritis in my hands which means I don't have a lot of strength to press down while going around curves with a cutter. Instead, I drew a thin line around the template while it was placed on the right size square of fabric and then carefully cut it out with my good 'fabric' scissors and they came out perfectly. Now all I have to do is work up the courage to sew the two parts together 16 times and then put the block together.

Easy to use
I love these templates. I was confused at first because they only had the pie shape of the drunkards path, but after I read the instructions it made sense.

I am very dissapointed in this product.
I was expecting the quarter circle pieces AND the "L". Got just the quarter Circle. And they to not have the lineup notches others have.You can use a rotary cutter for the 1/4 pieces, but with no "L" pieces, no ease of rotary cutting.$15 for $.50 of plastic, that has no line-up marks for pinning.I am very dissapointed. The 1st picture is what I was expecting.

Excellent! Just what I was looking for.
I wanted templates with multiple sizes and I knew this had to be possible by using the pie wedge pieces for both the "positive" and "negative" spaces for the drunkards path blocks. This is exactly what these templates do. I can use the "wasted" material for a smaller version of the blocks by going one size down and have a second project.
