Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara Dramatic Volume, Black Brown

It's my favorite mascara.

I love this mascara and have used it for years and years. I constantly get compliments on my lashes. I live in the US, so I can’t just go to a store and buy it, I have to order through Amazon. I’ve tried many many many mascaras, high end to low end, and nothing beats Max Factor. Period. There is an important thing to remember, actually it’s a must. When ordering Max Factor, you MUST order from a company based in Europe, preferably from the UK. If you don’t, you’ll receive a dried up old product.

Happy with product as I cannot get it in the USA. I really wanted auburn but won't pay as much as asked. Settling for brown/black. Only drawback mascara is in an open container. I used it and I am ok, so if it is a color you need get it.

I thought it was waterproof, so I asked for a refund

Works like it did before. Did not like the tube was unsealed.

OK, this one (it's getting to be the rule rather than the exception these days to return items I've ordered thru Amazon) came all by it's lonesome, not in a package. I don't like that, not these days when people are crazy and you don't know what you're consuming anymore....seems like money trumps conscience. I'm going to use it but don't feel comfortable about it at all. Why they don't see Max Factor in the US any longer I cannot fathom. This is the BEST mascara I've ever used and yeah, I bought some of the expensive ones and they sucked.Last week I received another Max Factor mascara.....spreading the wealth because of the bad orders I've received of late and it arrived out of its packaging as well. I returned it immediately. It must be ancient if the glue was so old the package fell apart. Trust is beyond low. I would have used it in the past. I do recall when I used to buy this mascara here in the US, I returned almost all of them for being dried up. So it wasn't much fun to buy it here. I'll admit, I started opening up the packages in plain view in the stores as I was sick of exchanging and couldn't care less if someone called me on it. No one ever did.

I am a long time user of this mascara and I love the applicator brush as it does not leave clumps on the lashes. I have not been able to find this at my local retailers so I am glad to find this on Amazon.
