Rothco Aviator Air Force Style 58MM Sunglasses with Case, Yellow Lenses

It's been awhile since I had a pair of Hunter S's, and these are actually my 2nd favorite pair ever. Very well made, sturdy, large and comfy on the nose. The one thing you have to get used to is the ear wrap around that happens on the end of the legs. I dressed up like Walter from the Big Lebowski, and these glasses fit the bill. Other than that, there is a bar on the other side of the frame that rests against your face that is kind of irritating, and if you are not used to wrap around ear pieces from old school glasses, these are going to irritate you as well. As a living historian, I am used to them, so for me it was no big deal.

Way too small and it broke at the bridge.

I would have loved to make this review a 5 star and I would have if I was not an average sized woman (5'6", 140 lbs) with an average sized face of a woman. The glasses are super cool but they're just too big. I would rock them even though they're too big because I like to be different but they're too big even for the odd one out even with my long hair down. I haven't worn them with a cap yet and I could probably get away with that but otherwise, nope. Men, go for it! They'll be a bit tight at first and definitely not what you're used to but you'll quickly get used to the ear thingys. The yellow is very yellow but nothing crazy if you're into being even a little outside the box.

These sunglasses are like something you'd get in a cheap multi-pack for a child's birthday party. Fortunately I'm just using them for a Halloween costume. C'mon, Rothco! I'm a fan of your stuff. Stop sellin' these!

I have two other pair of these glasses and now the yellow. All of them are made pretty good. These yellow ones seem to be just fine for everyday wear when you don't need darker lenses. Those cloudy days and even indoors as some stores and other venues have bright fluorescent lighting. I am going to use these for those express purposes.I like the adjustable earpieces which can be a bit uncomfortable until you adjust them but your glasses will not fall off your face during physical activity. That's why they are made that way!I would recommend these to anyone needing a good pair of frames with a yellow lens.These are NOT party favor glasses!
