Received promptly from Amazon, thanks;The original switch kept going out( the LED would not light and I would have to play with it for awhile to have it light but it never lasted, must have been a loose connection inside the switch; I did pull it once and played with it then it worked for a time but....This selector switch fit our 1996 Tahoe perfectly; it arrived around 1415 and I had it in before 1445, really about 20 minutes; I followed a Youtube video that showed how to replace this switch.I hope it lasts; I will change my review if it does not but right now it's great

Excellent! Fixed the random working and not issue I was having on our 1997 Chevy 1500 pickup. Only issue is the lights are white compared to the almost orange look of the rest of the dash lights. So it doesn’t match but it’s a 97.. happy it works. 4 stars for value since many out there are cheaper by almost a 1/3 the price. Dorman was the most expensive

Installation is easy. Depending on the size of your hands, the clip in back might be tricky but overall easy.

Great product. Cheaper than auto parts store, two-day shipping. What more can you ask for? Direct fit in my Z71. Was having intermittent connection issues with my previous switch (indicator light would blink on and off, not engage 4x4, etc). This is a cheap, simple place to start if you're having issues with your 4WD and even slightly suspect your switch. Actuator in front axle is another common issue.

Where I live, in the mountains, we often need 4X4. after determining the switch was one part of the "lose of 4X4", this new switch was an easy fix (15 min. - see A1 Auto's how-to on Youtube) and very reasonable price. I also had to replace the 4X4 actuator on my 1997 Tahoe. Fully back in action now.

This looks, fits and works perfect. Excellent replacement part for a none working switch in a 1999 k1500. Symptoms were no lights and no function for 4x4 switch. After watching some Youtube videos this was very easy to install (less than 10 minutes) and the problem was fixed .

Easy to install just look up couple of youtube videos for install and your done.Install less than 10 minutes.Fixed my 4x4.Nothing like being almost stuck to make you fix things you have been putting off.

Install was easy via 1A auto video from their website. The new bright lights in the unit look great.

Works good installed easily. My old one the light always went out and had to bang it to get it to work on my 97 yukon. Not no more new one works like new again.

the part performs as expected,what i wasnt impressed with,was the fact that the driver DELIVERED IT TO THE EDGE OF MY DRIVEWAY & SIDEWALK NOT THE FRONT DOOR LIKE ALL 30 PREVIOUS ORDERS!!!
