The cd player don't work

This unit/model was from before skip protection, so know that bumps and shakes do cause it to skip quite a bit. I was happy to find this model has a good volume range, and so efficient headphones aren't left without decent adjustment, and hard to drive models aren't left out either. I have tested this with 20 Ohm to 300 Ohm headphones, with numbers in between.The construction is of a plastic majority, and without much of a seal. This means that pressure to the body of the disc player can bend a CD stored inside. I found that one out myself. So don't go storing the player in a backpack, with a CD inside. Even if it's only once. The second issue relates to a lack of a seal, meaning dust gets in easily.It's an older model, so the reason I bought this in the first place was to have a bit of nostalgia. The sound quality from this unit isn't anything to laugh at -- even as it was more "budget" for it's time.

I sent it back, because the battery area was all corroded with battery acid. I was so mad, because I was going to use it on a trip.it was also hard to open. You did refund me pretty quickly, though. It didn't even work.

pld school will play CD-r but not CD-RW

If you're looking for a reliable no-frills disc player with good sound quality this is it. There are no bells or whistles; I don't even know if it has the no skip option, but it has excellent sound quality, runs respectibly long on two double a batteries and so far hasn't missed a step. It's everything I want it to be, and for the money you can't beat it. I'm totally satisfied.

Did not work at all! Wanted money back but did not feel like going to the trouble!

The product arrived earlier than expected. The product description was very accurate. I am very satisfied.
