LEGO TECHNIC Tow Truck (8285)

Great technic Lego , Bought one about 10 years ago for $250.00, For $3,000 dollars you might as well flush your money down the toilet , Makes me want t vomit to see people selling this for that kind of money. Good Luck, When It was going for $1,000 that was to much.

Okay this thing is about one of the greatest technic sets I own. I like it a lot especially with all of its functionality. I have enjoyed playing with it and building it. Although it doesn't see much use all the time it is pretty durable having rolled it around and stuff. The only thing I would say that could be a worry is the antennas and the exhaust stacks as they can fall if not careful or get bent. The one downfall I say this toy has is the inability to be able to actually tow my other lego sets due to how big the thing is and the size of the actual wheel lift. The only thing that it can tow is my model team big foot set with its huge wheels. Maybe if you modify the thing to make it more friendly to other technic sets would it work better but when it comes to trying to tow something like the 8421 set like I said the wheel lift is just not right to do the job. However, it is a great item and still can have loads of fun just towing around via the winch or pulling other legos with it.

The Lego Tow Truck was the best Lego set I have bought and put together. The Tow Truck works beyond what I thought it would. I would recommend the Tow Truck to any who likes a challenge.

Why would you buy this for 2000$

I love my Lego Technics. And all collections of trucks. This one, for the price, is not as great as I expected. The Model Team Black Cat, in my opinion, was much cleaner and realistic.

How can you buy a toy for 2000$! Who can afford it?
