Very small but great quality
First, the quality is top notch. Very well made. That said, it's overpriced for the size, IMO, but I suspected this before purchasing. Still trying to convince myself it's somehow worth it. Imagine a normal-sized hotdog. That's literally the interior size of this thing...and that's being generous. But, hey, if that's all the room you need and you're ok spending the money, then it's perfect.

High quality
Most dirt bikes don’t have tool kits or a place to store tools. This bag, attaches securely to the cross bar on the handle bar and is the perfect size for all essential tools for quick repairs on the trail.

Really awesome bag for what I wanted
Really awesome bag for what I wanted, for my XR650L. Its not huge, but it will fit your wallet, phone, keys, and sunglasses just fine. Depending on how you do that straps you can make it skinnier of fatter. If I loosen things a bit I can put a standard EU Boom speaker inside with my phone tucked in too. Perfect for holding your speaker while riding. I did some jeep trials with the speaker in it and unzipped never had any problems, the pocket is deep enough you don't have to zip it up if just your phone/wallet, in case anybody is wondering.Only bad thing I have to say is the price, its great but I feel its very overpriced.

Works well on my GS, but I wish it were waterproof!
I mounted this bag on a 2014 BMW R1200GSA. To make a long story short, I like it, and I'm glad I bought it! But I had questions about it that weren't answered until I actually got it...so I decided to write this for those that, like me, are wondering whether (or exactly how) this will work on an adventure bike which generally doesn't have a crossbar. From all the reviews here and in other places, it's obvious folks are using this on all sorts of bikes, so you know it can be made to work. But I imagine there are folks that are on the fence trying to decide on this bag...cause it's sort of expensive, given it's rather limited size, and maybe this will help them!In most of the online videos you can see of this bag, you'll notice that most users are filling the bag with the stuff they want to put in it, and then cinching the straps down so that the bag is held in the desired position on their handlebar. That works, especially if your handlebar has a crossbar...and the straps on the bag will hold it fine if you use it that way! Even without a cross bar! But what "I" wanted was a bag that would stay in place even if the straps weren't pulled tight...because I wanted to be able to put stuff in and take stuff out without having to adjust the straps each time! And I also wanted the bag to ride above the body panel that covers the top of my gas tank...rather than resting on it and rubbing that panel constantly. And it seemed to me that if you only used the straps, the chances are the bag would tend to sag down and rest on my gas tank. But, If you look at the pictures, you can see that there are little loops on each end of the bag. In my case, I used some thick zip-ties to fasten each of these loops to the handlebar. With that done, I then worked the main straps into position and adjusted them the way I wanted them...which was just enough so the bag didn't hang down and rub on the gas tank. I tried it without the zip ties, but I had to cinch down the main straps a lot more to keep the bag from flopping around, and when I did that, the bag touched the tank! But the way I finally used it, with the zip ties doing most of the positioning, I was able to leave the main straps such that the bag wasn't squeezing its contents tightly, but still hung above the tank without touching, even if the bars are turned fully one way or the other! For me this was important...I often start a ride in bright sunlight, but don't return until after dark! This meant that at dusk, or if it started raining, I'd have to stop so I could remove and stow my sunglasses. Now I can put them in the bag easily, and quickly...like at a stoplight, or even while moving, assuming you can do it safely (I'm not saying YOU should do that! YOU should come to a complete stop before removing one or both hands from the bars). The photo I attached shows the bag with the right side loop zip-tied to my handlebar.I just returned from a 17 day, 5000 mile trip from Texas to northern Montana and back...mostly pavement, but some dirt roads and jeep trails mixed in. It sat there perfectly, the whole time. Most of the time, I had a small (tiny) bottle of Plexus, some eye drops, some drink packets for mixing with bottles of water, a bottle of aspirin, and a loosely bunched microfiber towel, stowed in the bag. At dusk, I'd add my sunglasses. One day, I also put my Google Nexus 6P phone in there so I could run a charging cable from the USB port on my handlebars. The Nexus 6P is a big smartphone...it JUST fit inside with the zipper closed! I tried putting the hard case for my sunglasses in there, but doing that took up almost the entire bag. The case and the phone would not go in at the same time. But I knew it was small when I bought it...I mention it to give folks an idea of its size in practical terms. There is, in my opinion, only one real problem with this bag, which is that it's NOT waterproof! The fabric itself does seem to be waterproof, or at least pretty water resistant. But the zipper, which is right on top, isn't! If you're riding an adventure bike with a windscreen in a light rain, it's probably not an issue...I went through several short rainstorms, and the bag stayed dry, since the windscreen was keeping the water off it while I was moving! But in a downpour, or if you stop, the rain will land directly on the zipper, and it WILL leak into the bag. It rained during the night a couple times, and the bag was damp inside the next day. So plan accordingly. I knew this when I bought it...other reviews mentioned it...but I thought it worth repeating. But this is why I docked it a star...it would have been easy to add a flap to cover the zipper, with maybe a couple pieces of Velcro stitched to it to keep it down, and that would have made it, for all practical purposes, waterproof.

Best
Best handlebar bag ever. Fits well and holds phone, keys, and all nicely. Zipper is heavy duty.

Quick Access
Always seem to be digging through your pockets on a ride....not anymore!I am an adventure motorcycle rider who lives in far northwest Washington State. I decided to buy this bag while trying to get across the border into Canada.Pulling my ID/NEXUS card out of my pocket is sort of a pain when rolling up to the check point. I used to stop, pull my helmet off then dig through my pockets for my card. I had to take off my gloves to do this. When I was done I had to do everything in reverse. If you have not been across from Washington to Canada, the CBP guys can be real " Richards" if you delay them. Now I roll up, pull my card out of the GL Bag, hand it to the CBP officer. While he begins to runs me through the system I pull my helmet off. After we are done the card goes back in the bag, I put my helmet on and ride off. Since my helmet has a ratchet buckle I can leave my gloves on.My phone/wallet now rides in the bag...not my pocket. It does take some conscious thought not to forget it though.I recommend this bag.

Spendy, Small, Loose Fit
Giant Loop gear is awesome. I have their "Coyote" pannier bags. Supposedly made in the USA. Coyote bags are AMAZING!! This GL handlebar bag **falls short** in my opinion. Cannot put much in it. Fit is loose and just weird. Made in China, and **WAY** too much money for what it is.
