Good Casual Jacket, Green Is A Bit Dark.
I really love the aesthetics of this jacket, but the green is a bit too dark for my taste. I will say that the sizing runs small and the quality is mediocre. The button for fastening is pretty cheap, which is why they give you a few extra. I recommended this jacket for casual usage-it's not something I'd wear if I were moving around a lot because it is a bit flimsy.

Best Jacket for my Wedding Reception
I loved the velvet and the stars pattern. It matched my celestial wedding theme. I was rocking out to MCR in this photo. ☺️I recommend!

Nice Quality, size is way off
Very nice quality lined jacket. Very pretty. Sadly, sizing is about 2 sizes too small for US sizing. Sadly had to return.

SO CUTE!
The photo says it all! The only size available in plum was XS, but it fit. Just a little snug on my shoulders. The material is nice and weighted and feels like velvet. The stars are gold and silver and really make this piece shine.

The Myth and the Reality.
It’s rare to find such a scholarly book, full of painstaking research, so totally absorbing, indeed exciting as it builds up towards its climax. As Jeff Guinn shows, the fictional/mythical representations of the Earps and Doc Holliday, and their altercations with the Clantons, Mclaurys, Ringo et al, fascinating as they are: - and I still have a deep love for“Gunfight at the OK Corral” and the novel “Warlock” which draws heavily on the story – in many ways pale before the reality, at least insofar as it can be established. It’s important to note that Guinn is often driven to speculative reconstruction because the facts have vanished into the mist of time.If Wyatt stands at the centre of things, he is far from the dashing hero he becomes in the legend. He is a stolid individual, lacking personal charisma and charm but handsome and physically powerful – thuggish on occasions – and ruthlessly ambitious, if for the most part unsuccessful, at least until the myth takes off. “Doc” is a loose cannon, near psychopathic, rescued in our final estimate by his unswerving loyalty to Wyatt, the one area of consistency in his consumptive life. The other members of the Earp family are sharply realised. If James has much of the charm that Wyatt lacks, he is also a more shadowy figure, generally removed from the intrigues and hostilities that dominate the other brothers. Morgan is wild and unpredictable, Warren dissolute and largely ineffectual. Virgil, alone, commands respect in his genuine concern for the application of the law in an impartial manner, his self-control and his shying away from needless violence.Guinn places this family, their close associates and cattlemen in a larger context of the growth and decline of the west, especially Tombstone and the Arizona/Mexican border. There is so much more to be said about this remarkable book, but I shall close by recommending it wholeheartedly to anyone with a half serious interest in the American West and the amazing lives of those who lived it.

Good popular history
This is what you want from a popular history book. There's lots of detail and lots of context - context, the background to the story, is crucial to books of this kind, I find. The story itself is interesting, and here is clearly described and well paced. There perhaps aren't the kind of illuminating revelations you get in the very best works but those are so rare, it's not really fair to expect them. This is a fine book and an unqualified pleasure. The book was in excellent condition (the seller had described it as 'good' but it was better than that). It came a day before the earliest stated delivery date and was a great price. Well satisfied.

Much more than OK (Corral) !
Western buffs will love this highly readable and thoroughly researched account of the west's most famous gunfight, which is crammed with interesting details. It debunks the legend, revealing a complex tangle of relationships leading to the deadly showdown, which is much more fascinating than the mythology. Great service by Wordery, as usual.

Wonderful insight into the famous gunfight at the OK Corral.
I have read most books on the OK Corral, and this one does not disappoint. It gives all the facts of events leading up to the shootout and afterwards, and also gives a lot of the history of the Arizona Territory. It is written in a very entertaining way and is not at all a 'dry read'. Thoroughly recommended for anyone interested in Tombstone.

Absorbing
The actual event takes but a few pages but the story is well told and interesting. A forgotten era. Well worth a read.
