Great fans! Nice, quiet, and easy.
Great! I know they say they're quiet, but I didn't realize just how much quieter they would be. Love them! Keeping my PC nice and cool. Installation was a breeze, and they had these weird rubber things that you squeeze through the screw holes instead of screwing. They also have rubber ends to minimize the risk of any rattling. I'm very sensitive to those types of sounds, including the high pitched frequency of coils when it gets a little lower (e.g. at/near idle, low voltage), but I have no problem with these at all :) Oh and they also came with extensions in case you need it. WORTH.

Noctua NF-A14 PWM - one of the greatest fans ever made
I've been a strong supporter for the Noctua REDUX line and have been using them in all situations where ever possible. But, I am currently building a "new" computer in a modern case and wanted to make a statement. So, this computer will be all Noctua "Classic Line" (Brown and Tan) using the best of choices as needed. The NF-A14 PWM meets those needs, having a great mix of high airflow, low noise and high static pressure. it was an obvious choice in my black "Cougar Uniface S" case. The quality of the fan and the startling contrast will make this build a real beauty. I'd post a photo but with 5 different brand fans in it, it sorta looks like a junkyard build. Maybe later when it's complete. To add another point, when we talk about the lifetime of your basic sleeve or ball bearing fan, that time span might run from less than a year to maybe 2 years. Some will claim longer, but I run these systems 24/7 365 days a year - that's 8736 hours of power on time. For those 8 hour a day, every day users that power off, that's only 2912 hours. My systems run 3 times as many hours.I've put other brands cheap fans in cases when people drop off a box of parts and ask me to build them a computer. In several such builds, those fans have failed in as little as 3 months. In all situations where I was able to convince people that "proper" cooling was a more serious part of the system design, I used Noctua fans. It's going on 16 years, dozens of builds and perhaps upwards of 130 Noctua fans and I have NEVER had one up and fail. That being said, I do have one that is about 15 years old - 9 years passed it's warranty date - that needs a push to start every so often. Once started, it runs at full speed and is just as quite as its twin of the same age. But, we are not talking about a few months or a year or two, we are talking about a company that makes fans to last and last and last. And to top it off, it is this very thing that has inspired other companies to stop making cheap trash products and start making something really worth putting their brand on.With my choice of the Noctua NF-A14 PWM and all other Noctua products, I feel that I am investing in more than just an excellent line of products. I am investing in a concept, an ideal if you will, with a company that believes in their products and designs as well as providing exceptional support for the simple to extreme.==========I had to cut up two of their 20cm fan frames to fit in a case that was not made for their fans. But, I was determined and sent them an email about what I was doing with pictures. Their reply was not what I expected: They were excited that someone would go through all this trouble and obvious financial risk to resolve a problem like this.Instead of the usual "You know you are voiding the warranty." and "Our products are not meant to be cut up like that."The reply I got was more like, "Wow, cool!"My kind of people!Note: I have not received, expect to receive or been offered, any kind of compensation for these facts, statements or my opinion.=====Fourth fan recently arrived in excellent condition. All I can say about these products is that while they may seem a bit pricey at first, I've never had to replace one for failing. And, again...we are talking about a period of many years. I'll never use a ball or sleeve bearing fan again.

Best fan I ever used, not best looking.
I recently bought a prebuilt pc which has 1 intake fan and 3 rgb exhaust fans (all 120mm). It was working fine, however last few weeks with summer heat wave here in cali. I could feel my pc getting really hot while gaming and checked temps, cpu was in the high 80s and system temp in the 70s. I have ryzen 5 3600 with stock cooler btw. I felt with the case and fans I had, there wasn't enough intake air coming in fast enough so looked on amazon for an additional fan. While searching I kept seeing noctua fans appearing with high reviews, however the brown colors turned me away. But after reading reviews and people saying it is the best fan to cool and stays quiet. I decided to order one to test it and my front fan location are out of the pc case glass view. In few days I received the fan and wow, I was impressed of the packaging alone. Came in a nice sturdy box and nicely packaged, felt like a premium item. It came with the fan, y splitter, screws, rubber screws, extension cable and a low wattage cable to keep the fan pwm at lower speed if needed.Took the front cover off of my case, had to do some arrangement because 120 mm fan was in the middle slot. I moved that one to the top and noctua to the middle slot. I plugged the y splitter into the motherboard fan header and plugged the noctua fan with the extension cable to the 4pin port and the previous 120 mm fan to the 3pin port of the splitter. Put the case together and powered up and saw all the fans turned on, went into bios to check for pwn and fans connection. Everything worked out great, my temperatures have drops by 5-10 degrees and i don't even hear fan's noise or vibration. When I open my glass side door and just put my hand inside the pc, I can feel a nice flow of cold air blowing towards my gpu and cpu.The cons I would say are the cables are little stiff and takes some time to bend to cable management and the aesthetics. Hopefully one day they will make some rgb fans haha. I always used stock fans or cheap ones I found online, however this is the best quality fan I ever used and would highly recommend.
