Not working from last six month...now remote was dead

Does not work from a 2 ft distance
It does not even work from a 2 ft distance for my godrej ac. Multiple times you need to press to make it work. Extremely bad

Remote compatible with Godrej 1.5 ton Split AC
The remote is like my original Godrej 1.5 ton Split AC remote by look and performance. It is also compatible with my 1.5 ton Lloyod Split AC ( old model ). I wish the remote will continue to work trouble free in the future
