I was a little skeptical when I opened the box. The mural is rolled up pretty snugly in a plastic wrap. So when you unpack it, it is tightly rolled. I carefully unrolled it and taped it to the wall with blue painter's tape. I let it sit overnight somit would relax, and it did. The I drew a light level line with a pencil where I wanted the top edge to go. I also made a mark where the left corner should be so I knew where to place it for the correct side to side placement. Next I carefully peeled back the top edge of the protective paper on the back along the top edge. I peeled back about 2" and folded it over. Then I carefully placed the top edge on my level line. I used a folded over white tube sock to press the mural to the wall, starting in the center and working out towards each side, making sure I didn't get any bubbles. Then I reached under and peeled back another 2" of the protective paper and repeated the process of pressing the mural to the wall from the center outwards towards each edge. I was able to get the mural adhered very nicely with no bubbles or wrinkles. It looks very nice and it sticks very well.

I can hardly believe I got this put up all by myself and even harder to believe that it's straight! It looks crooked in the photo but that's only because I can't hold my iphone straight. Getting it started was the hard part. I marked where I wanted the corners to be and then peeled back the top left corner and stuck it to the wall. That held the decal in place while I worked with the rest of it. I kept getting large bubbles and had to carefully removed and replace multiple times. I also smoothed it out starting in the middle and working out the small bubbles with my fingers. It still looks like it has tiny bubbles but that's because the wall is not perfectly smooth. It sticks very well; I don't think it will peel off by itself for a long time.I work in a small cubicle with no windows, and needed something to brighten up my home away from home. This certainly does the trick and I love it! A real window would be better of course, but no more staring at a blank cell wall.

Let me start out by saying that I'm kind of a decal junkie. I started using them a few years ago when they were relatively new and much more expensive. While I'm excited that they are more popular now, it does make it tricky to distinguish which ones are of good quality.In my opinion, this particular decal is of excellent quality. The material is thick and sturdy. The adhesive is sticky enough to adhere properly to the wall while still allowing you to peel it back a little to correct any mistakes while hanging the decal. That said, it should be noted that if you are new to decals, you are definitely going to need to watch a few YouTube videos with tips and tricks for hanging them as this is large and all one piece.The image is crisp and clear. It's exactly as pictured in the listing. The only thing that I feel I need to point out is sort of nit-picky but I didn't realize it when I purchased the item. That is that the windows in the picture are not pictures of real window panes. Rather they are some sort of computer generated image. The same goes for the molding and window sill. It's not a huge deal but it definitely detracts from the realisticness. That's the only reason why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5. I should mention that a few people havent even noticed this about the decal, but a few have. I'd say it's split down the middle. So take it with that grain of salt.All in all I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to others.

I purchased this for my office that has no windows. What a difference! It's a well made vinyl peel and stick mural that will not tear. I think I removed and reapplied onto the wall about 3-4 times before I was satisfied with the location/level. No damage to the wall each time I removed. As other reviewers stated you can find a how to do on You Tube. It will be easier to apply if you follow the video.When I conduct webex calls in my office the staff can see the palm tree and beach in the background I get a few chuckles. I was going to get another one for my basement but they sold out of the 36" x 48". I am very happy with this mural! It helps when we have these long cold winters!

This is just AMAZING! The material is thick, yet can be easily re-positioned, and the picture is vibrant and RICH. We purchased this for my 11 year old who requested a BEACH bedroom re-do, and it is absolutely perfect. Originally, I was concerned that it wouldn't be large enough (36 x 48), but it is just P E R F E C T. She asked that we place it on a wall opposite her bed so that it is the last thing she sees before she falls asleep, and the first when she wakes up. I have gone up to her room just to lay on her bed and get lost in the picture! I will soon be shopping this company again for more of these (different pictures, of course) to place in other rooms around my home--GORGEOUS!

I bought this for my office because I don’t have a window. The product is very large, which is great, but very difficult to put on the wall and get any bubbles out. After 3 people, using a credit card to try and smooth it out, several attempts of unsticking and resticking to make it even, it’s up. I would give it 5 Stars if the adhesive back was in 4 pieces instead of one. Being so large, it was very difficult. It looks nice, I do wish I would have ordered a smaller item, and it still has creases that will rip if I try to get them all out. Very bold colors, my clients like it, and I recommend for an office, not home.
