Lets be honest you can buy a 4 slice toaster for a great deal less, but the SMEG looks stunning. If you are prepared to pay the price I would recommend it..

Very smart looking and professional

After reading the great reviews I took the plunge to spend all that money on a toaster. It only really toasts one side. Bagel function just warms up the bagel/croissant etc but not very effectively. The sandwich function is totally useless. The bread toasts on one side and none of the sandwich filling heats up. The cheese doesn’t melt in the slightest. Complete waste of money.

It looks good, but doesn't offer any real quality to the build as far as I can see.A few things to note too, there is no indication as to the progress of your toasting. This is something that is annoying as it does appear to take a long time to achieve a good toast.

It gets 3 stars because it looks pretty and auto functions well. However, the bread is not toasted evenly on both sides, one side is always toasted more then the other side, which is annoying for the cost of this product. I’ve spent a few times scrapping off the one side of my toast. No matter how much you fiddle with the settings, this won’t be fixed. Disappointing, I had a £18 toaster that did a better job of toasting evenly.

Paid a lot of money for a toaster with 4 slots but only weeks later only 2 work they will only return it in 42 days looks good but it’s crap Not value for money and Not easy to use P.s what do you use a toaster for ......Not happy
