Bought this as a gift, they really liked it.

Stone Carving Set Polishing Rotary Tools. Works great especially the polishing wheels. The stone carving bits are strong and work great. But differently have to keep them wet or they will burn up to quickly.

The media could not be loaded. Great value compared to phenol or nova bits. Container was a bit odd, I have fat fingers, they came in a sectioned blue case with semi transparent lid. The bits were in three sections, hard to get out one, without taking all out first. Not a huge deal. Great product, the whole bit needs to be used, swirling back and forth to evenly wear the bit, or if you only use the end half, the back end will be grittier and less used - but this can also have a good side effect. You can eventually have a fine but, and course bit by doing that. I've had no breakage, or anything. I use them on fire agate which is 2 points less on mohs hardness scale than diamonds. Very pleased. Use a water drip system. Note: some dremel, I have the 4000, require opening the nut fully, without taking it off - to insert some of the bits. I went to buy another quick attach chuck and didnt need too. The guy showed me this trick.

I don't actually know where these were made, but that doesn't matter - they're WELL made. I've used a single bit to rough out a couple cabochons out of agate (which is a very hard mineral!), and it still works like new. There's a visual difference in the used one, but I think that's just the metal coating wearing off the tops of the diamond - it's got a slight greenish cast.I've tried saving a few bucks buying Harbor Freight or cheap-o Chinese imports, and lemme tell ya, do yourself a favor and get these instead. I think the first bit is going to outlast the whole last set I got.Maybe there are better ones out there, but for my money these are in the sweet spot.

Diamonds are sparsely embedded in the bit heads. There was blackening from metal friction on the material I worked with. Fine hole drilling is not possible because of how sparsely distributed the diamonds were on the tips of the pointed bits.

Used these bits to remove some excess granite in my countertop that was preventing a new cooktop from fitting in. I was able to grind out all of the excess material and got it to fit without issue. I went through one bit, and had to start using another, but it was worth it to be able to fix the issue without having to hire someone.

I am a beginner when it comes to lapidary skills, but found these bits work pretty well. If you are using them correctly, keeping the rock and the bit wet, you get longer use out of the bit and better results. I've shared a couple pictures of rocks I've shaped using these bits. For the price, you can't beat it! I'd buy then again!

works perfectly in my dremel doing stone carvings.i took a large stone and carved a large letter in it.also carved our house numbers into a large stone by the mailbox and they both look amazing.i only used 1 or 2 type of the tools to do my projects but the same tools lasted for 3 stone projects so far and these are not small carvings.i would definitely buy again if needed.
