Decent tester.
I only used it once but it got the job done. I had been guessing where the leak was but it would have been a pain to get to so I wanted to be sure before taking the car apart and replacing parts. Verified the leak in minutes with this thing. It fits 3 of my cars says it won’t fit the Jeep which I’m a little bummed about. Although, I did find a cap in the assortment that may work for thanks anyway. It is one of those tools that you may not need often but you’ll be happy to have of you do need it.Quick update. The cap that o thought would fit the Jeep didn’t. However, I bought a spare radiator cap at the auto parts store and used the connector from one of the kit caps I didn’t use and made my own. It works perfectly and was simple to do.

Lots of potential
This kit has a lot of potential but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. I bought this to pressure test a 1996 Grand Prix with 3.1L V6, probably the most common family of V6 engines on the planet. The middle sized radiator cap included in the kit is clearly the one intended for this application (size and threads match) but the center portion that fits down the radiator filler neck is too big. That has the O-ring to seal it, so even though the cap screws on, if you can't get that center portion to fit into the filler neck, it's useless. It needs about 1/16" trimmed off the diameter which I considered doing with a dremel.I then tried one of the adapters to test a radiator cap only to find that it has flaws in the casting (made of cheap pot metal), I spotted at least two holes, so it doesn't hold pressure at all. That's when I gave up on the kit and decided to return it.It's unfortunate because most of the kit screams quality. The threaded adapters for expansion tanks look beautifully built, as do the ones for radiators. Everything about the pump/gauge seems well made and I had no issues with the quick connects. Wish I could get the seller to send me a cap/fitting with a slightly smaller size (as I described above) and an adapter for radiator caps that's not riddled with holes, because I'd love this kit otherwise. But I know if I just order a replacement I still won't be able to use it on my 3.1L which is what I bought it for.If you don't have a GM V6 you'll probably love this, just cross your fingers that if you need the radiator cap adapters that yours don't have holes in them.
