I am a big fan of the brand Leapfrog so got this to go with my child's interactive pen. You will need to download the Leapstart Go for this to work but once downloaded your child can play to their hearts content with this. Its a good way for children to learn in their own language and at their own pace.

Perfect but it’s big

My son has a condition where he finds it difficult to lift and push things. I was concerned he wouldn’t be able to use it but I decided to buy it and see anyway. To my joy he is able to lift and push on the stylus which is a bonus :)

Small has no pen
Smaller than expected. And I thought it came with the pen but it doesn't. Regular going price for the pen is 50 pounds!!. But I managed to find one for cheaper. So I spent more than i initially wanted to. The books are pretty diddy too.

DO NOT BUY THIS!I’ve just wasted 2 days trying to get this software to work, after multiple emails and a very frustrating call to leapfrog customer support I’m defeated by this silly plastic pen and the annoying voice telling me to download leapfrog connect!This was supposed to be a lovely surprise present for my girls from their grandparents for Christmas but I’ve sent it back. I can’t actually review the product because I CANNOT GET IT TO WORK!! It’s NOT user friendly at all!The customer service rep had to ask me several times for the name of the product like she’s never heard of it! This call was a last ditch attempt to get this to work, after 3 emails back and forth suggesting I try a different USB or a different laptop (all of which I’d already tried!) the only answer she had was to uninstall antivirus software and try again. This didn’t work either!So disappointing.So frustrating.Now I have to find an alternative gift but also have to faff about sending this and the books back and also wait 7+ days for the refund.Thanks Leapfrog and Merry Christmas!

Ok not great
Got this for my 4yo. The pen itself is a good size, with the charger point neatly in the side. The top is very very thin and I wonder how long before it’s snapped off- a weak link methinks. Loading up the software is easy enough and decent storage. We bought it for the pictures (obviously given it has a screen) as well as the activities in the books but without the bigger books for it, the others seem to have limited pictures so do your research. We were asked to get it but if that’s not the case perhaps the 3D would be better. The customer service from Leapstart guys was pretty abysmal answering my query. Not interested. There seems too many systems and not enough clarity on what they do and what’s available for each- be careful what you choose. Overall, seems ok, but not great and probably will lose appeal quickly.
