This is a great summary of business sense. The review at the end of each chapter is very helpful to the reader.

Very good for those who are looking to improve their coaching and mentoring skills. I recommend highly.

I bought this book for a college class I was taking. I am a certified life coach and so was interested to read on a subject I am passionate about. I found this to be very textbook-like and extremely sterile. It is published by Harvard Business School, so what was I expecting, right?

Great book on coaching!

This is a really dated book. I agree with some points about how to have a mentorship or coaching relationship such as openness but, the tone reminds me of "Mad Men" (TV series) type culture. The perspective it takes towards Women and Minorities is frustrating at best (see bottom of page 115). If you are working with Millennial you might also want to find a different book.
