Great pictures of Dinkey Toys although the collectors prices are very high and do not reflect the current market. Also the book includes an application for the “Dinkey Toy Collectors Association” but this organization no longer exists.

Yes, I like this book (the 7th edition). I had an earlier one but it's lost so I can't compare them directly. For Dinky collectors this is a must - if only for photographs of models not seen in other books. The price guide is included because it supposedly helps sell the book, but "guide" is the operative word. Prices have increased a lot as any web search will show. In my opinion the 'bible' for Dinky Toys remains the Richardson's "Great Book of Dinky Toys", but Dr. Force compliments it with more photographs even though the majority are only side views. I salute all these efforts to document the production of these great toys realizing that the perfect book might well be too costly to produce. It is easy to critcize the efforts but these have to be tempered with the realization of the work involved by enthusiasts who add so much knowledge and enjoyment to our love of Dinky Toys.

Great pictures and detail information. I have many Dinky Toys. Easy to use to identify Dinky's by numbers. I like approximate values. Dr. Force thanks for the insight and effort. I also have your Lledo Toy bought. I will buy others as I find them. Cordially, David

This is an excellent book, very detailed, lots of pics. The prices as in most books seem a little high.

This version is not a lot different from the many previous prints. The value tables are updated, as is some of the text. But values are best found on the many sites that actually trade these collectibles (which are sometimes depressingly low and other times incredibly high.) I love his detail on histories of the manufacturing. Author knows his stuff!
