HP brand does perform better than lower cost substitutes.
After trying several off brand, lower priced ink cartridges for our HP 8600 series printer that did not perform well at all, we have decided that the hassle over lower cost vs. print performance was not working for us and we will pay more for the HP brand product...though I still believe that the HP brand is over priced.

Didn’t work out!!
Cartridges seemed fine but the printer did not accept them. I have no idea why. So since I opened the packages, I can’t send them back.
