works good, weakish magnet. If you use it right it sets all screws correctly without breaking the paper. Its easy to use a bit wrong. you might have a few screws to fix before mud, MUCH easier than without though.

I had to redo some drywall work in my garage and didn't want to buy a whole new tool just for that project (drywall screw gun). I have a friend in construction who recommended these and I gave it a try. It's not quite as easy as the drywall gun, but once you do a few screws you get the hang of it pretty quickly. Worked great and did exactly what I needed. Once I finished the drywall you couldn't tell where my screws were, so end product was just as nice as if I had used the specialty tool. I used it with my impact driver and would use them again.

I've used the Dewalt Drywall Screw bits to install drywall. I've also used the equivalent Milwaukee product. Both Drywall Screw Setters are very similar, however the Milwaukee's shape/length of the Philips bit of the Drywall Setter appears to be a little bit better designed/built. The Dewalt is fine but the Milwaukee is better in my opinion.

If you only do drywall once in awhile, these are a great way to have a tool so you can do the job properly. And there's more than 1 so you can give one to a friend or keep as a spare for yourself. Another great tool by Dewalt

Used to install fencing slats as well as what they are intended for. The one I have used shows no wear, no chipping, and drives screws flush as intended with an impact. Recommended.

I am a home owner and I have a Milwaukee drywall screw corded drill that and I have used in days past. I happened to notice the Dewalt drywall screw set, and I thought I would give it a try. I tried these out on my cordless drill, and the bits were quick and easy to use, and worked well. They set the screw to an appropriate depth and dimple the drywall paper nicely for the application of mud. Although my Milwaukee drywall screw drill does a great job I much prefer not dragging an electrical cord around with me. I now have a new use for my cordless drill.

Passingly functional, does not have enough ease of use for me to prefer it over just using a normal bit. Does not seem to get a good grab or sink screws even beneath the paper 1/3 of the time.
