I will share this one often!
I am a super fan! It's a very quick read and a fun story. Brian's approach to story telling reminds me of Ken Blanchard and the One Minute Manager series. And its backed by real data and research (in the final chapters.) This story revolves around a young sales manager who just won "sales leader of the year," but still has a ton to learn. I learned quite a bit about my leadership style(s) and a few tips to keep me in the optimal zone. I'm going to recommend this read a lot I. It will go on my shelf of "go to" books I share with young leaders whom I mentor, right next to my One Minute Manager series.

Good book to start with
I really enjoyed the “fable” used to teach the concepts of coaching. It created a realistic and relatable person who experienced what many people experience today. The coaching framework is simple and gives a great starting point for managers who want to have better coaching conversations with their team.If you want to dive deeper into coaching and understand competencies, question frameworks, and more application you’ll need to find adding resources.

Priceless!
The Weekly Coaching Conversation came highly recommended from a number of friends/colleagues and did not disappoint! The way the author weaved in the coaching tactics, strategies, and principles into this highly engaging "coaching conversation" between the two main characters (in a dive bar of all places) was brilliant!I also found the free bonus training that comes with the book extremely valuable as it goes a lot deeper into the new strategies introduced in the book. (And the videos were hilarious!)Just bought copies for my entire leadership team and recommend it to any manager/leader who wants to take their team's performance to the next level.

LOVE this new "Coach Approach!"
A few of my team members have been struggling to keep up... so I asked around for goodbooks that might help and the Weekly Coaching Coaching was recommendedby an old boss of mine. This book hit me straight in the heart and made me realize what I needto do to help them.(Spoiler alert: After a bit of soul searching I discovered I needed tochange my approach... stop acting like a "Nice-Guy manager" and becomemore of a "Coach"!:)What a great, inspiring read with lots of tactical take-aways. Couldnot recommend a book any higher.

Good for inspiration, but incomplete, lacks details, and the website links don't work
Good concept and critique of traditional management approaches, but as other reviewers have mentioned, it seems like the author left the "how to coach" part out of the fable - a bizarre oversight for book on the supposed superiority of coaching. Also, not only do the links in in the book no longer work as of this review date, but many of the links on the author's new site don't work either, so it's not clear how to watch all the videos the website suggests. (There is a $1,000 coaching video class on the website which presumably works, but it's hard to imagine that the author seriously expects readers who bought the book to plunk down another $1000 to get the missing details from the book.)Huge fail IMO.

Good content but the "Masterclass" funnel is disingenious
The best content for this book isn't actually in the book. You have to click/visit the links and watch a long masterclass where there is good information but it should be in the book. There's very little tactical information in the book and it feels intentional.

Recommended for anyone looking to sharpen the saw
Easy read, very insightful, straight-forward approach. Brian takes lessons managers are (or should) be familiar with and replays them in a way that should make anyone who leads people to reflect and assess their approach. Initially I was disappointed because there were links to a lot of additional info included in the book that was missing on his website. When i reached out asking about the missing info he responded to me personally to confirm that he's updating the videos and should be publishing them soon.

The fable half of the book is fine, and there are some good pointers in the second half. There are some ads at the back to buy Souza's system.
