THE BEST TRIO EVER!
I cannot express enough how amazing this bundle is. I was a bit nervous stepping out of my usual comfort zone of hair products. I had been using Mielle forever and hadn't stopped until I ran out the other day. Sadly, the usual products I'd get from Mielle were either not in stock or not available on Amazon. So, I searched around for some different hair products like Camille Rose and even Maui for a decent replacement for the time being. Cost wasn't something I really looked at, as I am used to spending around 60-70 dollars on hair products alone. So when I came across Carol's Daughter, I was shocked at the price of this trio! A good-sized shampoo and conditioner WITH the moisturizer for only 30 bucks? I couldn't really believe it. I checked the fine print, read the ingredients, and of course gushed of the fragrance being used and then decided to just risk it and buy the products. Best. Risk. Ever. I had come from a long day of school. My hair had not been moisturized for two days and there was simply ONLY gel in my hair- Guys, that's all I had at the time being. So, when I saw my package at the front door (After one day wait with prime shipping too!) I was excited and a little nervous to try out these products. Upon opening it, I read the fine print, the instructions, the ingredients (yes all over again) and Carol's story. It was short, sweet and to the point. The only thing left for me to do was actually TRY the products. So shortly after ridding my clothes, I tried out the shampoo. Let me just say, FOR A SHAMPOO THIS PRODUCT IS VERY MOISTURIZING! I could actually finger combo my 3b-3c hair from JUST the shampoo alone. Not to mention the mango smell was absolutely divine. Next, I tried the conditioner, and as all conditioners do, it moisturized my hair and made it extra soft. I wasn't as blown away by the conditioner as the shampoo. It's pretty congruent to the conditioner I had from Mielle which is still VERY GOOD. After a gentle rinse, I wrapped a towel around my head and dried off my hair. Let me just say, my hair was beautifully soft...and when I implemented the moisturizing cream into my hair...my hair could've been made of silk at that point. It was so soft yet VERY light. A little ACTUALLY went a long way, which is saying a lot for us 3b-3c girls. I split my hair into two sections and used just a small scoop of the cream to get the job done. I had also got the styling gel, but I have another review about that somewhere else. Overall, these products were amazing and will probably end up replacing my beloved Mielle. The smell is amazing, and my hair has never been so soft and moisturized. Thank you, Carol's Daughter.

Affective hair care
These products are my daughter’s routine hair care. She absolutely loves all she has tried so far! Better results than more expensive brands she said. I support her hair care 100%. Seems we found a product that is affective and affordable so far.

Shampoo not cleansing enough for product build up on low porosity hair
I used this whole line on my 9 months old daughter until she turned 33months old (so for 2years her hair loved it!)1. Shampoo hydrating shampoo, does not strip hair.2. Conditioner: rinse out conditioner format not a deep conditioner, not detangling. (I used different hair masks like Maui/tgin/Mielle etc..)3. “Butter” -very thick and stay on top of hair, I would use it as a leave in conditioner but it wasn’t for that😤I didn’t peep that until I kept washing her hair with the whole line and it would never feel clean/have the bouncy curls at the ends of her hair😑, it was dull/film coated/ uncleaned scalp & lifeless!I used the locg method Liquid, Oil, Cream, Grease. I found out this year in 2025 she’s low porosity (one of the reasons her hair stayed dry no matter how much I shampoo and DC it), now I use the LCOG method seal all the moisture in last with oil (almond or avocado oil) & blue magic blue color hair grease. I also clarify each wash day, which is weekly following a DC 30min-1hr under plastic cap, this has helped the ends of her hair be bouncy and form 4b ring curls.*I took off one star because it doesn’t clean enough for us (mild hard well water, grease usage, product buildup). I recommend this kind for babies-1yr olds afterwards parents need to clarify maybe 1x/month with another shampoo.

Moisturizing but not defining
I feel like the shampoo and conditioner are very moisturizing and with the butter made my hair feel very nice. I didn’t notice the issue with stickiness that some others mentioned. It was an interesting feeling because my hair wasn’t oily after using it, and maybe that’s why it seemed sticky to others? However the coil butter did not enhance or define the curls/coils of my 4c hair the way I wanted it to. I think this probably works better for twist outs or braid outs, but not wash n gos. I don’t have enough hair for a twist out just yet so I’ll just save it for then.Edit: I used it again for a twist out (my hair is slightly longer now lol) and did notice the stickiness others have mentioned. The shampoo and conditioner are nice, but the coil butter is indeed sticky. I looked at the ingredients and it has beeswax in it, so that may be why.
