Really handy
I like these cards. They are really handy. Very sturdy, compact, fan out nicely and come with a clip. I haven't had them long so I can't comment on how they hold up. But they are sturdy.

Great Resource
This is a great resource to keep on hand for outdoor sports, camping, and survival prep. The instructions are fairly easy to understand. The pages are completely waterproof and very durable. They are attached to one another, making it hard to loose them. I got this as a gift for my husband. He loves it, but our two elementary-aged kids and myself use it regularly too!

Easy to use
I love this little book! I have this and the one for fishing knots as well. I keep one in all my packs. I'm a big backpacker and have had this guide come in handy several times when I'm miles in the back country. It's also fun to sit with the kids in front of the campfire and practice with. Great buy!

So far so good...
Got some of these for the boys I'm working with in Trail Life. These are convenient. Haven't had them long but the illustrations are clear. I do believe we'll get our money's worth out of them.Only negative thing so far is minor. The listing said 23 knots. The packaging says 24. If you flip through the guide and count the titles you see, it looks like 20 knots. But several of them have variations, it just doesn't show those variations with their own big bold lettering. So, it is 24 even if you don't see that at first. Also, names are not consistent between the packaging and the product itself. Some say hitch on one and knot on another. Again, minor detail.

Handy for Real World Situations
I use some of these knots on occasion and this wallet sized reference is pretty slick. The water knot illustration is a little confusing but most of the knots are relevant and useful for ever day situations.

Essential knots to not knot wrongly
Learn basic knots that could save your life or not. Great illustrations and examples. But remember seeing how a knot is done is not is a subsitute for practicing them until you cannot knot them wrong.

Great Reference and Teaching Tool
I learned tying knots as part of being an Eagle Scout. As an adult I've taken the fact I know knots for granted. I just assume everyone knows how to tie a knot... I was wrong. As part of a week long canoe trip it was requested that I teach the others in the group knots. I bought these as a handy reference guide and teaching tool and gave one to each person. They were awesome as a visual aid for teaching. Each person used it to help them while they practiced.I like the fact they are waterproof and have a carabiner, so you can clip them to your equipment for easy access and not worry about it getting damaged.
