Okay, it was a tough choice to send this bag back because it was my first choice for a lot of reasons. Its roomy, soft, collapsible, has a great strap, has a flat bottom for small bento boxes to sit up right, and it's super cute for my toddler. However, I did a little test with an ice pack to see how cool it kept something and this is where is fell flat. Now, for us we want to keep our son's milk nice and chilled to prevent bacteria from growing. If this is not a concern for you, or you have an insulated milk container, then this really a nice choice of bag. But compared to a truly insulated lunch bag, it just couldn't compare. In 1.5 hours this bag allowed a gel cool pack to completely melt and the object with it to raise in temperature 8 degrees. The insulated lunch bag, in the same amount of time, still had a frozen gel pack and the item with it had only warmed 3 degrees. So, like I said, if it's not an issue for you, then I think this bag would be a solid choice. Especially for older children and adults. When my kid is older and need less milk, I will probably look back into these as an option.
