Works really well with >10W (5 Volt, >2 Amp power supply)
These work really well - provided you read the instructions and use them with a 5 Volt USB “charger” rated at more than 10 Watts (2 Amp). A standard phone USB charger is usually only 5W (1 Amp) and will not provide enough current - the charging lamp stays orange and the phone does not charge. You can pick up a 12W (2.4 Amp) “charger” for about a fiver - well worth it to remove the curse of rubbishy broken iPhone leads!!

IMPORTANT TiP Use Correct Wattage Power Supply otherwise charging pad will not work properly
Important tip - Get the Correct Power Adapter for Boost Up Pad - 5W Wireless Charging Pad Requires at LEAST a 10W charger. I made the mistake thinking a 5W Charger is all I would need for a 5W Wireless Charging Pad - Wrong! If you under power the charging pad it will act very erratically and won't charge your device (Amber light, occasionally briefly blue repeated cycling, sometimes charging briefly, not charging at all etc). After reading the reviews I suspect many of the poor reviews are people unknowingly pairing the pad with too low wattage (W) and thinking the pad is faulty.I was convinced I had a duff unit, then I searched the net and by chance found the minimum power specs - and I swapped out the 5W Apple iPod wall charger for a 12W USB wall charger and BINGO worked perfectly!!As for the unit itself for the money (around £12) its sufficiently well made, although it does feel a bit light weight but this isn't a bad thing as it sits on my desk without moving around when I use the pad. I find 5W wireless charing seems to charge my iPhone XS plenty fast enough - in what seems to be a few hours. Note if you want faster charging with iPhones you current limit is 7.5 W for the new iPhones so you won't necessarily benefit fully for going for a 10W charger (make sure you marry it with correct Wattage (W) charger though!). There are similar restrictions for other phones so check the Belkin website for maximum charging rates for different phones. Also note the faster you charge your phone (wirelessly or wired) the more it increases the battery wear and thereby the life of your device battery - if this is important to you I would encourage you to stick to standard charging speeds (less wattage) and avoid fast charging methods. In short:- Check you have correct power adapter- Check Belkin Page to find the maximum wireless charge (W) for your phone/device model- Think if you want to fast charge your phone (wireless or wired) and reduce the life expectancy of your phone battery

Good charger - bright light
So, this is a great little charging pad for any Qi phone. It’s a little more plasticy than its predecessors which had a more “premium” feel, however the design is discreet and still as effective - charges through my leather case no problem.Knocked a star off for less premium feel and the fact that there is quite a bright light on the front to indicate it’s charging - which bearing in mind most people I would have thought would want to put next to a bed for overnight charging, means that they do illuminate the boudoir quit a bit a night!A less powerful LED… a duller colour…. something that initially indicates and then goes off…. any of the above would have been better.Good that you can either use the plug adaptor or a suitable USB socket in order to power it.Overall good value for money though and if it’s not going bedside then it’s a no-brainier.

Easy to use, easy charging
Easy to set up. I like that it has a USB wire which fits into a plug so you can use USB or mains socket.Slightly slower charging than a main power cable but still really useful to have by my bed to be able to put my phone on.Tried to charge it through my Samsung s20 ultra LED case, it started charging and then stopped, and started again and stopped etc. Probably would charge through a thinner case. I just take the case off when charging as it seems to sit well and unlikely to slip off.

Works but not very reliable
I was a bit disappointed in the quality when I first unboxed it. It felt quite cheap and a lot lighter than I expected. I bought to use on my desk but have noticed that it randomly stops charging without touching the phone. I tested with an iPhone XR and 12 mini without cases. Sometimes it’ll restart by itself, sometimes it won’t. It’s fine for desk use but I definitely wouldn’t trust it to charge my phone overnight. I kept it because it works most of the time and the price was good for both the wireless charging pad and the QC 3.0 charger.

Worth the money
This isn't the cheapest charger... I was eyeing an Ikea Nordmarke for 1/3 the price, but I went for this because it's from a decent brand and it has the faster 10W charging. I'm glad I did.It has worked straight away and speedily, it's not so lightweight that it slips around the place and the slightly raised rubber pads round the edge hold my phone securely.Basically it's been no trouble and has made my life simpler.

I think it is ok
Sometimes doesn’t charge may be coincidental but seems to be when battery is low. Very annoying when you wake up and it’s not been charging.Initially I thought I was about position on the pad but doesn’t seem to have any rhyme or reason.Wonderful bit of tech though - does feel a bit like magic.Update - having used it for some months now I have still not found any rhyme or reason for when it wouldn’t charge and the light on it goes orange rather than white. Other than putting it on there before bed when you actually need the phone first thing and finding it hasn’t charged which is infuriating.Have tried a friends wireless charger from a different brand and did have more success with that one.

Great for iPhone
This is my 2nd one as I now have one in the living room and one on the bedside table. Really easy to use and no issues with charging my phone. Occasionally if you don’t line up properly it doesn’t charge, but as long as you see the little white light come on then it will work perfectly. Seems to charge pretty quick as well.
