Works well. Storage pouch contains a small pocket that holds 2 AAA batteries when not in use or spare batteries if needed. Metal construction is done well. Contains 2 round magnets at the center. could be more IMO that runs the length of the entire level

Check it out. I throw this thing in a tool box with over 70lbs of tools in there with it that I fly with on all different airlines, every week. Still in one piece, still true. Don't get me started on the multi directional beam.

When I ordered the level, I didnt realize it has a swivel head to change between a dot and a line. That was more my mistake than a mistake with the seller. However, the swivel head design is not suited for industrial construction. It's a fine laser lever for around the house, just not the jobsite. The level itself appears accurate.

is great for leveling and I love that fact that you can create either a horizontal or vertical laser line with a twist.. BUT if it's daytime (as I imagine with most laser levelers), you can barely see the line (if at all, the dot mode is actually decently visible during the day)..

My husband is an electrician and carries so many tools around, size matters! This is a good quality level in a compact size that he uses almost daily in his work. Great purchase, works great, recommend it to anyone who is looking for a compact level.

The plastic swivel on the laser broke. I called Johnson, they gave me a hard time, basically told me I must have done something to break it. Basically, it is my fault. After much discussion, finally they agreed to send to to me a FedEx label to send it back to them. I dropped the package off at the FedEx pickup point, and it has taken over a week for the FedEx to pick it up. And now, the FedEx number the people from Johnson gave me is showing up as invalid. The people at Johnson are not willing to intervene to find out from FedEx what the status is on the shipment back. And, even if and when it gets back to them, they say that they will examine the tool, and MAYBE fix or replace it. As far as I am concerned, this is a $49 piece of junk, and the people in the company behind it is are showing me why it is junk.
