I give it two stars because the image is nice. The template isn't very easy to measure to the laptop which makes it difficult to get an accurate cut out. after cleaning and drying the laptop the skin is applied, making sure the bubbles are all out. After about an hour the skin tends to produce new bubbles that weren't there before which can be annoying. The small 3x4 square piece of skin that comes with the laptop skin seems to stick perfectly. The edges have started to lift up but the skin is still stuck on everywhere but the edges.FYI the skin may be shipped folded but the creases do come out after applying it to the laptop.

I bought this for a 17.3 in laptop and it comes up a little short but if your laptop is black it'll probably work ok. I think it's meant for one that's exactly 17 inches.The print isn't as sharp looking as onscreen but I could have lived with it.The problem was that I ordered 2 (the 2nd to replace the first) of these and both arrived badly creased through the center and in that way that you just know it wasn't meant to be folded. It wasn't folded into quadrants but rather rolled and randomly creased. It looked like the image was coming away from the adhesive at these creases and it would never smooth out. The 2nd one was even more badly crushed than the first. The boxes they arrived in were all in good shape so I'm not sure what's going.So I can't speak to the adhesiveness or any protective qualities as both went back immediately.

The graphic covers the entire 19" so trimming it off for my 15.6" Lenovo Y50 would mean losing the ejecting shell, a huge crop off the soldier's helmet and most of the M4's magazine. I wish they had shrunk the main subject of the photo (the soldier and his rifle) to a point where trimming the skin down to size wouldn't have cropped off most of the good features. The company who made this skin did well with creating contours and lines along the back to make cutting easier though. The image was also more low res that I had expected. I am simply pasting this to much wall as a poster. Also disappointing enough ,the wrist pads were NOT included, as I figured I could definitely fit it on my PC's wrist areas, but I did not get anything I was able to use in this set. Would not recommend unless you have a 19" laptop and don't care about the wrist pads.

The price is good, but as they say, you get what you pay for. You do need to cut both the outside skin sticker as well as the skin stickers intended for below your keyboard and since this kit was designed to fit just about any laptop of this size, the templates provided will not likely provide you the custom fit you are seeking without a lot of time invested by you to cut the sticker exactly for your device. However, in the grand scheme of things, that wasn't the biggest problem. The biggest problem is how poorly the skin actually sticks. One of the skins that goes below the keyboard simply didn't stick at all and was constantly peeling up. The skin that goes on the outside has a corner that just will not stick. Additionally, it should be noted that the finish is much more of a matte finish than a gloss finish, so if you are looking for something that would seem to blend seamlessly with your high gloss finished laptop, this is not the skin you are looking for.

This "skin" or decal might have been perfect had it been [evidently] crumpled into a ball for six months before it was shipped. It came permanently wrinkled and creased, and putting it on my computer did not, as I hoped, smooth it out. The image is great and would have liked it a lot were it not so damaged. (The only reason I didn't return it is that I went ahead and put it on my laptop in the hope that doing so would fix it.) Very disappointed with this product.

Very disappointed in this product. Compared to the case of the same design, the colors are very washed out. It also had a big crease running down the middle like it had been stored folded in half. Returned.

I hate to give this such a low rating because this skin is absolutely beautiful, but you have to cut through the most imprtant and beautiful part of the skin (the wings). Why? I was so excited when I got this and couldn't wait to put it on my computer, until I laid it out on top of it and seen what I would have to do to make it work....which is cut through the beautiful skin. I apologize for this, but I am returning this and going to try to order another one where this won't be a problem. I don't see how the designers of these skinz couldn't tell that cutting would be involved, and right over the wings. Is this just an oversight on their part or just sheer stupidity?

Really? This looks NOTHING like the picture. The seller's picture makes it appear to be 3 Dimensional while it's actually less than 1 Dimensional; very flat and tacky looking. If it had looked like the seller's picture, I would love this but I was very disappointed in the quality in this product. Needless to say, I returned it for a different one.
