The LumiLux Toilet Light with Motion Sense Detection is a fantastic addition to my bathroom. It works exactly as intended, and I absolutely love that it changes colors, giving the bathroom a nice ambiance. As soon as I open the door, the light comes on, so I don’t even need to flip the light switch anymore—it's super convenient, and I can see where I am going.The light requires two AA batteries, and the bendable design makes it easy to shape and fit perfectly to my toilet. I bought the two-pack and am so glad I did. Overall, this is a great product that adds both functionality and a fun touch to the bathroom. Love, love, love it!

Let me start by saying that I have owned several of these toilet lights over the past two years. All have failed at some point.When these kinds of lights were first introduced, I jumped on board and bought the only brand available. It was junk. As more Chinese companies began making their versions, I bought replacement after replacement only to have those fail as well.Some of the real cheap ones had suction cups that attached the sensor to the toilet, Those always fell off.Other has really thin hangers to hang the sensor on the side of the bowl. Those would always fall off because the hanger arm was just too flimsy.The last one of these I owned just stopped working because the battery terminals somehow became misaligned and would no longer recognize the batteries inserted into them.Scrambling for a replacement, I came upon this product by LumiLux. What inspired me were the many 4 and 5-star reviews. In fact, as of this review posting, the overall review satisfaction stands at 90%. You won't see that on competing products.I didn't mind paying a little more for the LumiLux. It's true, you get what you pay for! I could immediately see that this was a better-constructed product than all the previous models I had owned before.The best aspect of this product is its attachment arm. It's not flimsy. It actually has a nice, strong bend that allows the sensor to be firmly held in place.Unlike the cheaper brands, this one gives you 16 color choices, a color cycling option, and even brightness settings.Been using this for several weeks now and it performs flawlessly. It won't come on when the bathroom light is on. It properly senses movement in the bathroom and automatically turns on the light then turns it off soon after I leave the room. In other words, it works as expected.While I still feel that this is one of the most unsanitary products you can buy, its overall appeal and effectiveness make that notion less concerning. If you are going to buy a light for your toilet, don't go cheap. I would spend a bit more money and go with the LumiLux.

I’m ‘older’ and having my toilet light up in the wee hours of the morning makes me feel safe ! Imwaa always tripping — I have yet to fall but I’ve come pretty close! But with this little light that only comes on and lights up the water I’ve avoided all that! No overhead light to wake you up! It’s so great for an elderly person who stumbles in the dark to the bathroom!

I liked it a lot when I first installed it but within a day, it started cycling through the colors (I had chosen blue) and I can’t get it to reset. It actually goes through all the colors except blue. The red light I find creepy and yellow just looks like it’s unflushed. It’s light though, so I guess that’s a good thing!

Prior to obtaining this beauty, I had a cheaper model made by some no-name fly-by-night concern. It conked out, as it was bound to do, and I ordered this one because it was recommended by Amazon. When I unpacked it, I immediately noticed the unit was built stronger than my old one. The design is clearly water resistant and can be easily wiped clean. The batteries are double As instead of triple As, which to me means longer life. It is also significantly brighter than my old one; making it an effective night light. It comes with clearly detailed instructions of its setup and use, but, since the process was intuitive, I didn't bother with them.OK, so why buy this one instead of any of the dozen others that are offered? Here's why: A few days after it arrived, I received an email from Upper Echelon Products asking me to review the product. I replied to that email that I was generally happy with the new light, but that it flickered when displaying some colors. I was surprised a day or two later to see that Amazon was shipping me another one, free of charge. I hadn't noticed that this unit carried a lifetime warranty. It wasn't even a big enough issue to me to request a replacement, but their representative took the initiative to ensure that I was happy with my purchase.So, here is your challenge. What other uses can you contrive to add a bit of color or safety to your life? It could easily be hung on a stair railing support to light up the stairs as you pass. Hang it on the side of your aquarium to provide an impromptu light show for your fish as you pass by in the night. If you stuck it up one side of your nose, you could probably see into the nasopharynx on the alternate side. The potential uses are limited only by your creativity and imagination. You get all of this and a lifetime warranty too.

Highly recommend this gadget for your restrooms! So easy to install and so nice to not have to turn on light during a bathroom run at night :)

Does a good job as a night light for the bathroom. Motion senser makes it nice so you don't have to turn on a light. Like it also because you can change the lighting function to multi color or one color.

I ordered one of these years ago and just ordered 3 more! We love it! It's nice when waking up in the middle of the night and you don't have to turn the bright light on in the bathroom. This gives just enough light to let you see. We are taking one up to our cabin and giving one as a gift.

This inexpensive product has legitimately improved the quality of my life. Instead of being blinded by the bathroom light every time I have to get up in the middle of the night I now am greeted with a gentle, yet effective light that barely disturbs my half asleep mind. I can't recommend this product enough, especially for older men who are faced with one or more night time trips to the bathroom. In addition the customer service and warranty support is truly EXCEPTIONAL
