Works as expected
Perfect for repairing my blinds. Saved me a lot of money as i could repair them myself.

Durable, size may be off
Looks durable and like it will hold up well. It seems thicker than 2mm though- as another reviewer pointed out. It was hard to thread through a couple sections in the blind, but still a pretty straightforward repair even with that issue.

Cheaper Than Replacing
I have wide cellular blinds that are more than $100 each to replace. 3 of them just needed new strings so I figured I would give it a go. This product worked great and seems to be good quality. Took me about 15 minutes to replace the strings on each shade and saved me hundreds of dollars.

Perfect for older 1" aluminum levalor blinds
I bought this to replace a shredded lift cord on 34 year old Levalor 1" aluminum mini blind that is raised and lowered daily. Though slightly larger in diameter than the original it worked perfectly. I replaced the cords on the broken blind and the two blinds adjacent, all 3' x 5' windows. On another sight you can find a measuring technique that calls for rolling your old cord around a pencil for 10 wraps and then measuring the width. I found this method yields a larger diameter measurement than actual , possibly because the cord tends to flatten out some. When measured gently with a dial caliper, the old cord was actually about 1.6mm, and the new cord was 1.8mm. At any rate , this package is what you want. I have added 4 photos, one showing the old cord on the right and the new cord on the left, the tag on the bottom of the old Levalor blind, an unboxing shot, and finally how much was left on the spool after 3 windows. You'll have plenty. I was initially concerned the blind might not free fall easily because of the heavier cord , but it works perfectly , plus it feels nice in the hand when you grab it. I rebuilt the old Levalors because they are heavier and better made than new, and new ones are expensive. I used the lighter and fuse method to pull in the new line and it worked well. If you will pull the blind down and squirt a little silicon spray on the moving parts in the top rail , you will have a new set of blinds. Enjoy!!

Perfect Fit with Extras!
Knowing that a set of window blinds is needing replacements of the draw cords is a pain in the rear end and my bad back didn't appreciate it any better either. This is a perfect draw cord replacement for the faux wood blinds that were installed into the majority of the doors and windows of my house before my wife and I made the purchase and moved in. Now 7 years later, one set has shown the wear and tear of daily Florida sun (heavy UV) exposure. This replacement cord set is a perfect fit! The 2.0 mm diameter is an exact match and the braided exterior over a center core is a perfect replacement. After some quick YouTube replacement video reviews for some great window blinds draw string replacement tips and tricks, the job was done! All three pull strings were out, new ones in and all set and rehung. And much, much smoother pull than the original cords! So much smoother. The 60 yard spool has plenty of extra cord for the remaining blinds sets when they become due for replacements. So far, the extra pull knobs and measuring tape have not been needed. Not yet any way. Overall, for a single blind of three (3) or four (4) pull strings, this might be a bit of overkill with all of the extra yards of cord. The end result is that this worked for me and my current requirements and for my known and anticipated/expected future replacements.
