Easycar E8-B Smartkey Push Button Start Car Alarm System 2 way with 2 key fobs

After viewing videos and researching various alarm systems with smart key, remote start and push button start, I decided to go with the easycar e8b. Big mistake! After printing the tech notes for my 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder and following the installation manual step by step, nothing works. The remotes won't register, the push button start doesn't work except for accessory and off functions and now my car is no longer able to be started. Not even with my factory key. Also the little tap sensor that goes in your windshield does nothing. No lights light up. Tapping it does nothing. So basically I spent $300 of my hard earned money only to disable my own car which is ludicrous. I really regret buying this system. And now I have to figure out how to get my car back to the point will it will start again. Very dissatisfied customer. Amazon should rseriously consider removing this product from their store. With only two reviews and both being 1-starr ratings, why allow it to continue being sold?

Bought this kit and was honestly a little worried based on other reviews. Installed it over the weekend (about 7 hours start to finish) and everything is working.Manual is confusing but it can be figured out. Make sure you have the manual for your vehicle to be able to find required wires.Initially the push button start was not working and it turned out I needed to reprogram the knock sensor.

I've had this installed in my first car since 2013. I love the alarm and the system. It is nice to just walk up to the vehicle and the doors unlock, never needing to take your keys out of your pocket. Since then I have installed this in my other 3 vehicles, because it is so convenient, never have to worry if you locked your doors.
