Not bad, but could be better. Buy this book if you want to learn about the holocaust not about battles.
This book is more of a THIS IS WHAT'S HAPPENING! Book than a story. To many German soldiers and people saying things about Hitler in an unrealistic fashion. For example I could say "Putin is Russian" or I could say "Putin is part of the Russian federation and has assumed the role as president in a communist country." See the difference? And if the book was for information I would get that, but it's not really a book like that and it just feels weird seeing speech bubbles on civilians. It's almost as if they are fraying say everything about the war. Also I know the holocaust was a big part of the war but I felt that 7/10 of the book was about the holocaust and 1/10 was personal story about people and 2/10 was about the actual fighting. Needs more emphasis on the battles of the war. I think they could have made a whole separate holocaust book with what's in this book. Illustrations are not bad, better than I could do inn a lifetime, but if you look at Wold War One, the WW1 version of this book, you can see the difference in illustrations and writing. I prefer the WW1 book more than this that book was 5/5 this book is 3/5. Go buy WW1 if you want more battle and buy this book if you want to learn about the holocaust.

Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it
This is the first part of the two part World War II series from Campfire. It certainly doesn't disappoint. The graphics are one of the best I have seen and the writing is lucid as well. The better part among prose and graphics are certainly graphics. Many a times, they teleport you to that age and make you witness the crimes committed by Nazis. Some chapters of World War II like the Danish resistance,Nazi crimes against Czechs etc. ,which are not much known outside Europe, have been also included in the text. But the the chapters like death of Mussolini,Battle of the Bulge etc.have not been included.Hence,I regard it as a very good 'graphic novel',which should be read especially by youngsters, though it is devoid of some information.

Swastika the symbol of terror
I am Trayambak Dhara of class 5. My father gifted me this book. This book, as other Campfire History books is very interesting. The map was a little difficult to understand but I finally understood it. The book covers a large number of topics in details also in a comical way. I finally got a moral value after reading this book that is war is harmful for every country everywhere everytime.

Too simplistic handling ...but informative
It was a good effort. But I liked world war-1 better. Which I felt is more balanced perspective....This book has given a very simplistic view..... A man, full of hatred and megalomania started a war...... I don't think life is that simple. People need not be pure evil, to cause extreme destruction or despicable atrocities...It is informative, but could have optimised on the which aspects to be covered.....

Just buy & go nuts!
A must buy for intermediates looking for a quick picture of The 2nd World War.Print quality is super duper awesome, you will get details with pics of super high quality, so you don't have to imagine-what's going on- in your head. There's all beneath your eyes. But remember, If you want a quick preview, then only it's for you.If you are looking for something in detail.Then... Try other.Honestly, I read the book in 2 days. (184 pages). It's a comfort.

Another Winner from Camp Fire Press
Good graphics and easy to read text made this an enjoyable read which takes only one or two sittings if you care to read that much. Accurate details about that villainous scoundrel Adolph Hitler and his circle of bullies and losers that try to overtake Europe.
