Is there supposed to be a hole in the silicone gasket?

I do not know if a hole is supposed to be there or not. I very much like this product. It is especially helpful to hole the basket for a Mokha Pot when you are filling the basket with coffee. I have four (4) of these and highly recommended them.

Is the glass of the jar treated to not allow entry of UV light?

I don’t know about this. I keep my coffee tools in a deep drawer so it’s in the dark.

Is this Dishwasher safe?

The box for mine is long gone and the container itself does not say. I hand wash mine, however it could perhaps be safe to wash in top rack of dishwasher.
