Made connecting my Renogy panel easy to a deep cycle battery

It seems the Renogy panel I got needed this pigtail adapter cable.

Works as described. Feels heavy duty.

Great quality cables. Needed new ones after changing my setup. Decided to go with the originals as I didn't want to use substandard cables.

I purchased the 10 AWG cables expecting them to fit in 12-10 AWG crimp terminals.The cross sectional area of 10 AWG wire is typically 5 or maybe 5.25mm squared. This wire is bigger. As it says on the package it came in it is 6 mm squared. Now normally I wouldn't complain about getting a more robust product but they don't fit into my Ancor 12-10 AWG crimp terminals. Both the wire and the insulation were too big.I worked with it but it was a hassle.Other than that it looks like a very good product.ps: on further looking I see that it does show in the technical data that it is 6mm. But I still would have thought it would fit in 10 AWG Ancor terminals.

I'm not one to usually buy wire pre-made, I usually build my own. This wire is great quality and the connectors are top-notch. I did buy it to add my own extensions, and I can safely say that the quality of wire they give you is hard to find. Very flexible, weather friendly, UV friendly, it is great quality. If you want to save yourself soldering and heat shrinking, as well as bending exterior quality wire around, this is the right stuff. Next time I do it, I'll buy this even with the excessive price-per-foot vs a DIY solution. It is nice wire to work with.

Plug & Play! No Issues

I attached these to the my panel. Then added some 2 terminal quick disconnects to the ends of the bare wire. I put the other quick disconnect on my charge controller. This way I don't have to screw the wire in which is a pain. Make sure you use 10 gauge wire throughout. But if you're only using 1 12v battery, you could get away with 12 or 14 gauge.
