No. 1 - It's a pain in the butt to put on and adjust. I worked out my own technique for it, but it still takes time to get it right.No. 2 - It works. I have serious shoulder problems, to the point where I will need a total shoulder replacement, but I don't want to do it just yet. I am able to wear the brace all day and use my arm in a normal way, and when I remove it at night there is little to no pain. Movements that were extremely painful before are now without pain when I am wearing it. I wear it on days when I know I will be doing a lot of lifting or carrying, and on days I ride my bike.Advice - wear a T-shirt underneath and place the brace over it - some parts can rub or irritate the skin, but with the shirt the brace becomes very comfortable.Glad I bought it.

I tried this sling because the pain in my shoulder was unbearable at night it was a little awkward when I first put it on but as you get use to it everything was fine I can't believe my pain almost vanished after wearing it the only thing I was hoping they had an xlg because it was a little snug around my bicep it is comfortable to sleep in and wear all day it is not bulky it's very easy to use it sits nicely under a shirt great product get this if your tired of shoulder pain

Pros: reasonable pricing, looks good, durable stitchingCons: not very breathable, washing, Velcro refuses stick after awhile.I have gone through 6 of these braces in the past 2 years. The design of having the hooked portion of the Velcro strap stick directly to the back of brace kills the longevity of the product. It would have been better to add a portion of the felt so the Velcro would hold. Also, the design of having the arm strap go all the way around allows the excess strap to slip out from under eventually detaching from the hooked portion of the velcro. Having a ring to loop the strap through and the back around the arm would give a more reliable hold.

After having two seperate surgeries to repair my labrum cartilage after two seperate posterior tears I have yet again torn the cartilage. This has ultimately left me with issue ranging from pain to constant problems with my shoulder dislocating. I have refused another surgery as the first two weren't permanent fixes and refuse to go through that pain and anguish for a third time. So I looked into alternative ideas and found this brace and I couldn't be happier. Since purchasing this brace I have noticed a significant drop in my pain level, the frequency of my shoulder dislocating, and have also noticed a moderate increase in range of motion. The brace is extremely comfortable once you fidget with it to gain the right amount of pressure and position, it does well with wicking away moisture, and most of all it does what its intended for by helping to relieve pain and dislocation. I highly recommend this product to anyone with shoulder issue looking for relief before, after, or even amidst surgery.

After a bike mishap, I need to ice a shoulder a lot. The PainFX brace is outstanding! It's very well designed and secures the ice packs and sheets securely, which is hard to do without a shoulder brace. It is made with high-quality, thick, durable materials, not just thin stretchy fabric and skimpy fasteners . It allows for all manner of adjustments and works for either shoulder. The brace comes with info from the company on how to exchange it for a different size or what to do if you have a problem -- they really stand behind their product I'm really impressed with this brace and would certainly recommend it. And I'll definitely keep it for my NEXT bum shoulder...

I purchased this for my carpenter husband who has chronic shoulder issues. This wrap has helped him tremendously! He's been using that right arm to build things for 35 years, he has a lot of wear, this has been such a help in supporting his shoulder! He loves the extra strap that allows for an ice pack, how much better does it get?! Lastly, he is a XXL build, his chest is 52" and biceps are really big (I think I measured 17") finding something sized for an actual large build has been challenging, this wrap fits TRUE to measurements provided.If you need shoulder support, this is exactly as advertised.

Ten years ago I had a torn rotary cuff and a Doctor showed me where his was operated on, then said I'd be needing the same operation. I was in my 40's then and the Doctors surgery scar looked really freaky. So I returned home and started working out on a Total Gym and it would have been nice to have known about these PainFX Shoulder Braces back then. Within 10- days of working out on the Total Gym, I never had the surgery and my arm was back in 100% ability also! Now I'll use the PainFX to enable me to do these exercise's again in my late 50's. Very well made. I like the feel and fit. It eases my shoulder pain. I would've given it five stars, but the arm fit is at it's max with me. My bicep measures 16", and it fits snug. A 1/4 to 1/2" more room would make it 5 stars.
