CrossEdge Gel Pen, Retractable, Medium 0.7 Mm, Black Ink, Black Barrel

This is a beautiful green colored pen with black trim that is easy to extend/retract the tip which makes it functionally quick to use. It balances well in the web of the hand between the thumb & index finger giving it that balanced feel. I've had a Cross Ion Gel pen for 10+ yrs., but this pen has a better metal construction that should last considerably longer. This, I think, makes it a better value than many other pens at this level.

I'm addicted to these well made pens, I have two others, because they make a satisifying subtle "Click" when opening and closing.I like this unusual Matte Hazelnut Lacquer color with the black accents, very subtle, and classy.

I’m kind of pen snob. There is something about a good pen that I really love. I’m not talking hundreds of dollars for pens, I’m talking good pens like top end Cross, or Parker just to name two.Every year, I treat myself to a new pen. For me fit feel, and the transition from the ink to paper is what I look for.This year I bought this new Cross edge in Mattie black.The fit is remarkable! The feel is amazing! And the transition from INK to paper is wow!I have noticed that on this pen, the ink gels up at the tip and does leave for a nasty smudge. You wipe the globe of ink off you start writing again it’s great, but that globe just keeps coming back.On a five scale rating, it would be a five if it wasn’t for the INK problemI still stand behind the company Cross!!

Great pen! Now I have completed my pen collection! I like the style and how you open the pen the best! The ink flows smoothly. I did opt to purchase the .5mm ink since I like thin lines.
