Great Ink and nice Price!
Just got back into fountain Ink pens and wanted a good ink. It's been close to 30 years, since I've used a fountain pen. Gave this Ink a whirl and it was worth it. First, the bottle is super kool looking. Second, the Royal Blue is really nice color and the ink flows really well. I've tried the ink on a copy of different paper types and no bleeding with a medium Nib. So far, I'm happy with this ink and will be trying the black next. Very happy with this Ink and think it's a good purchase and will buy more. Thanks

I use this brand almost exclusively.
Very clean well processed traditional fountain pen ink. I have used it for years in a nice selection of various colors. Dries quickly, it does have a unique smooth flow of the ink!

Ink Works Flawlessy and Recommend Seller.
Fast shipping from seller and nicely packaged to prevent damage. I've used Pelikan inks previously and this Royal Blue works beautifully on Rhodia journals. No feathering and pretty quick to dry using a factory medium nibbed Pilot 823 pen. No issues and recommend the seller! Thanks for a flawless purchase.

Different label
Received a standard bottle label instead of the listed historical label. Ink color and performance is fine. Is it really that hard to adhere to the advertised product?

Blue Blue
This ink is great. The bottle has a nice shape, easy to fill from and the textured lid makes for easy opening and closing. It is very blue, the kind of blue I imagine a blue pen would dispense. It does write different than the standard ink some pens come with, cartridge ink for example. In the Pilot MR Animal, the pen wrote better than it had. I fell back in love with the pen after souring on it. In my moleskine there was significant bleed through and some feathering but in my Paperquest notebook there was none. This ink won’t break the bank and it’ll leave great vivid blue color on your pages. Terrific.

I like the feel of the ink when writing, it flows very consistently and works well on the 3 different papers I tried it on.

Buena edición
La parte frontal es únicamente un sticker pero cumple su función de verse vintage y bonito, por lo demás la tinta es de muy buena calidad y entra en cualquier tipo de pluma fuente.

Its ERASABLE and WASHABLE
Eraser, search for "Ink Eradicator"Washable, add some Oxi-Clean.Great shade of blue, easy to read, and being a "dry" ink, it's friendly to cheap paper since bleeding is minimal. As far as performance, this ink writes well, dries fast, and strongly resists bleeding. It is not waterproof and is definitely not considered a permanent ink (don't write out your checks with this).Within two weeks of getting this ink, I thought I destroyed a shirt when a poorly capped pen stained my shirt very blue. First time out of the wash the blue was mostly gone; I tossed it back in and added some Oxy-Clean. Second time out of the wash and the blue was completely gone. Even from the seams, the blue ink was gone.Yes, this ink is washable.Super Pirat Ink Eradicator sold by Pelikan will "erase" this ink on paper. In facet most blue inks are designed to be washable which implies they're also erasable. Blue ink, specifically Royal Blue for Pelikan, was the color ink used in schools to teach kids how to write with a fountain pen. Can't have kids with permanent ink on their clothes, rugs, desks, etc, so that's why we have washable blue fountain pen inks for over a century. Blue ink cartridges are also erasable, as are straight "blue" inks from other vendors. Variation on blue, such as blue-black, or dark blue, need not be washable. But if the ink is described as "royal blue" or "blue," it is most likely washable/erasable. I've been collecting FPs for about a year, and this was news to me.For the same ink performance, but without the washability, any other color of the 4001 ink line will work.
