Great product, got rid of the dreaded Ford shutter
I bought a used 1997 Ford Econoline E150 and the transmission had a shutter. I took it to my mechanic and had him do a complete transmission fluid flush, drain the pan, change the transmission filter. When he put the new transmission fluid in, I had him use one and a half bottles of lube guard as an additive to the new fluid. Since doing this, I have noticed a great improvement in transmission shifting and the shutter is gone.

Made my transmission hum like new
It works! Older Fords may say use Mercon in the owners guide so you add Dex Merc sometimes because it says it's compatible. BUT in the intervening years your transmission has been switched over to Mercon V (5)OH NO! Not compatible with the quart and a half you just poured in.This product modifies that wrong fluid so that it works and runs great.

Fixed hard shifting 1995 ford Taurus
These transmission were notorious for acting upBut 1995 was supposedly the year ford got it fixed. Maybe mine is an early production 1995, the shifting glitch wasn’t super awful, just annoying. A bottle of this stuff cured it!

Good stuff
I used this in my 1997 Ford E250 before, and after fluid exchange. 225 k miles so far pulling a 8000 pound trailer across the country 4 times and the transmission works like new.
