I'm just getting my feet wet in photography, and I thought as my first addition to my new DSLR I would buy a ring flash. I'm not looking to spend tons of money on flashes or anything, as I'm in this as more of a hobby. This ring flash was easy to install, super easy to change settings and makes the photos look awesome. I'm getting the effect I wanted in my shots! This is a perfect starter for beginners. If you want a super user friendly ring flash that's lightweight, inexpensive and still gives your photos more of a professional look, this is a great choice.

I bought this product and when I test, there was a spring that provides contact to the batteries, so the product does not work. This demonstrates that the product was not tested before leaving the factory! Should have bought a cheaper one that would best result!

In a budget it's AWESOME! Made some great Macro shots of flowers in low light (so the background comes out completely black with the flower STARKLY standing out).

This light is great for those moments when you just want a little bit more light or a little faster shutters speed. I use this on a Nikon 5300 with my Sigma 108 Macro and it has done a great job with flowers and insects. Its not powerful enough to freeze your subject, but for the price, you are getting a great device!

Was not compatible with Nikon D5300 as stated in the description. Can't be used in flash mode, only as a ring light.

Exactly what I was looking for. Works perfectly and fits just about any lens thanks to its several adaptor rings.

I've never used this type of light before so it is new to me. I found it interesting and different. and the color filters are a plus as well. So use your imagination and you will find some pluses to the lights. And with the lights coming from direct front, it does eliminate shadow differently. You will find yourself playing with this light to get that perfect lighting. and you can turn lights on/off for a perfect lighting Good price. Check it out, you have nothing to loose, and an improved photo to gain.

Will not buy again. Just got product, not only does it feel cheap it actually blew up when I put all of the batteries in, closing the compartment. Literally sparks and smoke. Such a let down and good thing I was not around any flammable materials.
