I purchased the unit. When it arrived I noticed it was packaged very well. It came with 2 charging cords and an instruction pamphlet. Upon reading it I noticed many words misspelled. Sentences trying to explain the operation were poorly written by someone that did not know much about the English language, When we tried to use it we had a hard time signing in with our wifi. We then tried to scroll to the various programmed languages and it would automatically go back to the top of the list. Once we got the languages in place English to Spanish it would not record anything. We tried to record various words in both languages but no luck. I then called Amazon to get a return label. After I got everything packed up to send back, the company emailed me wanting to try getting it operational and convinced me to get it unpacked after that I never heard back from them. I sent it back to Amazon. Do not purchase this item it is very poorly made. We gave it every opportunity to work but you cannot turn junk into something good.

The media could not be loaded.  I highly recommend this! It works great. The instructions are easy to follow. For sure it is not as smart as our human, so I have to follow the instructions and speak it slowly and clear. It is a great tool. It is small. It is very easy to carry. Took a bit to figure out the best way to use it. But, I did it. In the right setting, I can have an actual two way conversation with someone who speaks spanish, russian, chinese, vietnamese, and many more...That is an amazing tool! With the translator, my mom say Chinese, it will translate to Engligh, I follow it and repeat, it will translate back to Chinese, that way my mom will know whether you pronounce it right or not. It's a tool to learn English too.

Feels cheap. Lightweight...I set it to translate English to Thai and vice versa but most Thai to English so far it sucks and is not remotely accurate! Very inconsistent and Google translate is better in my opinion. I am probably going to retuen it.. nd test out other ones.

It's easy to use when it actually works. I'm very disappointed. I wasn't able to use it until looking after the allotted return time. My gut said listen to the bad reviews but my brain said there were good reviews.... I picked wrong and now am stuck with it. Waste of my hard earned money!

The problem we had was that the unit came with Chinese set as the native language. It took about 2 hours to finally get it to allow us to change. And at that, we could only change it to Spanish and not English. Just did not work well. Thought about sending it back but have not made a decision yet.

Having traveled to Japan many times on an annual basis, this was the first time I even considered such a product. This current trip in May 2019 my 12 year old niece came with me. I thought it would be a useful tool. We actually only used it a couple of times. For us, we found the best time to use is it was at a restaurant when you want to be clear about what is being served or what is included in the meal. Also, helpful in taxi's and during shopping adventures. Overall happy with the product and will use it again on my trip next year!

i got it about one month，this voice translator very easy to used and support multi-languages，i bought it for studied foreign language and talked with my friends.everything is ok ，but i found if i spoke a long sentence this machine won't answer me

I bought this product to take with me on my trip to Germany for translation from English to German. It was the worst product I have ever purchased. I ended up just using Google translate on my phone.

It shows ‘no internet’ when I press mother tongue or foreign language even when it shows connected to wifi in settings section.The worst part is, Amazon sent me link to communicate the seller/manufacturer for troubleshooting and I used the link and the seller/manufacturer did not even respond.Never buying any product from this manufacturer.

Easy to use, lots of fun. Excellent product.Only caveat is you must have a WiFi Internet connection.

This is not a easy unit to use , loses its charge quickly. Not anything that I was expecting. Would never try again.
