Forget the 10X, the 8X wins.
I keep a pair of binoculars in every car.Down sizing, my favorite Meade compacts no longer fit in the routine place. The 8X units are smaller than the 10s.I could not decide between the Bushnell 8X or 10xs. 10s are my limit for general hand held units. Both arrived promptly. Both focus closer than expected. That is handy for bird feeders and such. The detail and clarity of the 8s more than make up for losing the 2X.Even at a mile off the 8s provide more information.I'd return the 10X unit if it were not such a hassel.

Really good binoculars!!!’
I chose this brand because all of my scopes on my rifles are working great and they have a very clear glass, 4 stars on this cause they sent me this binoculars with one eye cup crooked , it does not affect the performance but , bushnell quality control lack on this one ,other than that it’s works great!

These binoculars punch well above their weight
I'm a big fan of cheap monoculars and binoculars and have collected dozens over the years. These are the BEST binoculars in the compact low-cost category. Really, there are no high-quality/expensive super compact/folding binoculars but these Bushnells are as good as it gets. I take these out cycling so I can check out wildlife, so I must have the double-folding style. They have excellent image quality - crisp and clear. There's a tiny bit of blurring around the edge but you really have to look for it. There's also a bit of fisheye which you may notice as you move around but I think that's due to the relatively high power/small lens combination and it's acceptable given the price point. The build quality is very good and focusing is steady and accurate. The diopter works well and allows you to really dial in your individual eye setting. I've had binoculars in this price/size point and even more expensive that don't give nearly as good images. The rubber armoring is excellent. If you're looking for extremely compact binoculars with low price, these can't be beat.

satisfyingly compact, powerful and clear.
I've had these Bushnell Powerview 12x32 folding roof prism binoculars about 4 weeks. After working out the best way to hold & adjust them to my eyes and after getting used to them, I found them easy to adjust, easy & smooth to focus, clear and conveniently compact. The binoculars are inexpensive, quick to grab, easy to use and reasonably clear & effective. I use these for quick looks out the kitchen window at birds in nearby trees. . .short dogwoods. They work well for that purpose (I'm not looking up into 80 foot pines with these). I'm anxious to see how they perform out on broad water in a kayak for more distant viewing.I think I prefer the larger objectives in this compact folding roof prism style binocular (where the objective is 32 part of 12x32 or 16x32). I haven't tried the smaller objective Bushnell roof prism binoculars in this Powerview model but I never have been satisfied with similar smaller binoculars in other brands. An important consideration is the size of the image presented by the binoculars to the pupil...which is determined by dividing the objective lens size by the power, such as 32 divided by 12. I don't want to go and get all the proper terminology but in general, the smaller the binocular's value of that ratio is in relation to the user's pupil size at the time, the less satisfactory the viewing experience is. That's probably why I'm not happy with the smaller objective lens sizes in a binocular...the image presented to my eye probably is much smaller than my pupil -- You wind up having to hunt for the image in the eyepiece a lot.Anyways, the only thing I don't like about this folding compact style is the double hinge they all have. When using them I sense they are folded unevenly and cock-eyed which bothers me...I like to have just a single hinge. But then, these are "Compact Folding" BECAUSE of the double hinge and even if they are uneven it shouldn't affect the viewing.

Best Value Binoculars for Your Casual Sightseeing Pleasure
My rating: 3.5 / 5A pretty basic "mini" binoculars for your casual sightseeing action. You won't be able to zoom with great details; just a simple zooming as if you are looking at a particular object at an arm's length. The minimum focusing distance is about 3 metres (or approx. 10 feet), so if you want to do some close-up zooming, go look for the more expensive "butterfly" binoculars instead. There are a few aspects that I don't like with this binoculars. The fold-down eyecups do not seem to want to stay down at all; they just flip back up in a second. As a spectacles wearer, I had to wear them off if I don't want to diminish the already narrow field of view (at relatively shorter distance) and the small diameter of the eye holes (that's why it's called 'compact'). Then, there's the inter-pupillary distance adjustment. It's definitely not possible to get a perfect circular view, though this more of a minor issue. The bottom line: If you haven't got any binoculars before and would like to have one for the sake of, well, owning one...then this would be a perfect choice for that. For the price you're going to pay, the build quality and its capabilities make this a great-for-value binoculars.

Ratios you won't find anywhere else
I don't know why, but this seems to be the only pair of Bino's out there that are running high magnification to objective size ratios. you won't find a 12x or 16x like these with anywhere near the same size objective lenses, by any company, period (and I looked EXTENSIVELY).
