It's bright enough.
I wired it up into a cord that's wired to an outlet that's wired to a switch. I mounted the light into a project enclosure. This tells me that the solder sucker is on.

You need to use the screw to mount a wire
I purchased both the green and red to retrofit a control panel. Initially I planned on crimping some insulated spade terminals onto wires and connecting the wires to the fixtures using the screw terminals and crimping a compatible 1/4" male push terminal on the other ends of the wires. Then I noticed that when I took the screws out, that it looked like I was left with a compatible male push terminal connection. However when I tried to use them this way, one side worked but the other side pushed in - it was a a tight fit, and the terminal wasn't designed for the amount of pressure I put on it to connect it up. So I went back to the idea of crimping a round (with a hole) spade connector on a wire for my connection to the light using the screw terminal. Afterwards I used some 7/8" heat shrink tubing to insulate the connectors where I attached the wires. If you use heat shrink tubing - be careful to just cover the terminal area or the tubing will prevent you from removing the back mounting ring. I found that I could work the mounting ring over the heat shrink tubing by slowing twisting it off. Once all connectors were attached to the wires, I installed them into the control cabinet and was very impressed with how well these worked. They are bright enough to use with room light. I picked these over others for sale on Amazon because I didn't have to worry about using a current limiting resistor because it was built into it. Over all I am very pleased with these and might use them for a new project. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 was because I couldn't use them as if they had push terminals. Ignoring that I give them 5 stars. I also like the fact that replacement LED bulbs are available for these fixtures.

Looks good, very functional, screw terminals!
I like these indicators, they look nice! Not too bright - more of a soft glow, but I can see the lit indicator from across the room, and that is exactly what I was looking for. I really like that they have screw terminals. Hint: Use solderless (crimp) fork terminals on these - that works much better, and you can crimp 2 wires into each terminal if needed to parallel wire this to something else. Like having a built-in terminal strip in your project. I use these with the Uxcell 4.92 x 6.89 x 3.94 gray plastic enclosure, and these indicators look so good on it!

Can be bright
A very noticeable indicator. If you have a direct view of the lamp it might be too bright for your needs but my installation is low and when looking down on them they are a nice glowing light.

Just what I wanted. They were easy to incorporate in our daylight sensing, outdoor light control box to show when the lights were on properly. I plan to us the 2nd one to indicate when a drain pump is on when needed.

works good the one problem i had was one of the terminals was a little touchy. Sometimes the light work other times it didn't but with a little shake it worked again. Overall cheap construction but it gets the job done
