Works in Dell Optiplex SFF 5060. Came with everything needed to install
My Dell Optiplex SFF running Proxmox with a quad 1Gb NIC and a dual 10Gb Mellanox card was running hot, like 80C. I wanted more airflow into the case, so I bought this 80mm case fan for the front, next to the PSU. Installation was simple with the included mounting adapters. Unhooked the factory CPU fan from the MB, inserted the fan Y cable and connected everything up again. At first I got a MB error code on boot. The error was sill being reported when I disconnected the case fan and only left the CPU fan. I then connected the CPU directly to the MB and sill got an error code on boot. Something was borked. Pulling the cmos bios battery out, waiting and the reinstalling solved the problem. Put the Y cable back in and connected the CPU and case fan. It booted without any errors, but I had to go through and set all my bios parameters, they were all gone.If I let the MB control the fans the CPU 65C. If I let the fans run full speed the CPU temp drops to 44C!Its a Proxmox server, so I don't mind the extra noise, which is 90% the stock CPU fan. The case fan is almost silent.

Worth paying little more for quality plus extra parts
This fan cost a little more than some other brands but you can tell is very high quality part. Also it included an extension cable, a “Y” splitter cable, and a cable that lowers fan speed if running of uncontrolled header, all of which would cost extra if not included. My mother board only has one fan header for the CPU, with this I was able to use the splitter and run both cpu cooler fan and case fan off one header. A bonus of doing it this way is that the case fan is speed controlled by the cpu temperature so runs quiet or turns off when not needed and spins up when computer gets hot. No wasted money for RGB lights only whats needed.

Excellent fan
I purchased this fan to replace the CPU fan that came with my new HP Elite 800 SFF computer. The HP fan wasn't very loud, but it made an annoying whining noise as it sped up and slowed down. You'd probably never notice it in a noisy office, but it was hard to ignore in my quiet home office. This new fan completely eliminated the annoying whine and is virtually silent. Highly recommended.

GREAT FAN!
This brand of fan is excellent. They are as quiet as advertised. The packaging is a bit of over-kill. But, it does make for a nice presentation. I bought two of these fans for my HP Medismart Server and another for the new PSU I installed.I chose to use the included silicon mounts, but they needed a slight modification to work. The heads were much to big to fit through the mount holes in the chassis. So, I used a punch to make them smaller.I measured the decibels before and after replacing the fan in the PSU. These larger two fans had already been installed. This brand of fan has made a huge difference in the sound coming from my server.

Impressive.
Excellent packaging, instructions, build quality, and attention to detail.Silent. Incudes adapters, and hardware.Less expensive than generic alternatives that might take weeks to ship. This Austrian company seems to only make these fans.Buy!

noctua fans what more do you need to know
needed these to replace aging fans in an old computer case. works as expected does have a high pitch whine when pushed to full speed but the smaller the fan the higher the noise definitely quieter than the old fans

You get what you pay for - and this is the best
There's no doubt this is the top of the line PC fan. It's quiet, and has adapters to adjust the speed if you don't have a fan header that controls speed avaialble. I have used these in 2 recent PC builds - one was with an HP I got on ebay that I wanted to improve case air flow, and one for a very small form factor build I was doing with the old components from my PC after building a new one.
