Trader Joe's Sweet Potato Gnocchi with Butter & Sage (6 Pack)

I can’t complain about the flavor they are delicious as long as you are willing to cook them for 15-20 mins

So, I am accustomed to the Cauliflower and Kale gnocchi. Both delicious gluten free alternatives. It's my fault, but I just grabbed the sweet potato gnocchi thinking the same, they were gf. Nope, not so. I just lightly sautéed them in cold pressed olive oil tossed in some spinach and onion and had a delicious meal...though about 3 bites in, I started to question the ingredients....and YES, they have wheat flour. Trader Joe's why not follow suite like your others? For anyone who can eat gluten these are delicious and quick in a frying pan.

I'm accustomed to buying items from Trader Joe's (like their Sweet Potato fries and Cauliflower Rice) that fit my Paleo nutrition plan. I bought this Sweet Potato Gnocchi under the same understanding that it was indeed Paleo-friendly. Instead, I discovered while eating it that it actually coated in flour making it not true sweet potato gnocchi. If I wanted flour and breading on my gnocchi, I would simply have bought the real deal! Trader Joe's has been slipping a lot lately and this is a huge disappointment! It's also the last time I take them at their word, and from here forward I'll be scrutinizing the ingredients before I ever leave the store!

I love these but Trader Joe’s sells them for 2.99/pack... so I don’t know why anyone would buy the 6 pack for $80 from amazon

I was pleasantly surprised how easy to cook and tasty these Trader Joe's Sweet Potato Gnocchi with Butter & Sage are. I did not buy the 6-pack from Amazon that I am reviewing here but I did buy a single pack directly from Trader Joe's. I paired them with grilled steak and it was a great meal.
